For the price you pay the food is great . Clean and staff are great

I had a wonderful evening at O'Dwyer Bar and Restaurant near Portmarnock Beach. The setting is fantastic—perfect for relaxing after a beach day. Enjoyed a pint of Guinness that was poured to perfection, alongside some delicious food. The service was excellent, with staff who made sure everything was just right. Whether you’re there for drinks or a full meal, it’s a spot that combines comfort and quality beautifully. Looking forward to my next visit!

It was very nice & even though it was a carvery they allowed us to order off the al a cart menu

They do a great carvery here and our Zoe is allowed in too. Full marks for their dog friendly welcome. We went on Thursday and had a half portion which was massive and more than enough. We speculated what a full portion would be like given there was only 3 or 4 euro difference in price. There is plenty of parking and plenty of tables so it doesnt look as though you have to book. We have eaten here before and we will be doing so again.

The food here is always beautiful, melt in your mouth, delicious.

Lovely service at the carvery. Food was tasty and good value. We queued, ordered and paid for two Americanos. We waited ten minutes went up and asked for them again. Ten minutes later we went up and asked for them and after a total half an hour wait we gave up and decided to leave the place as we felt like we were a nuisance when we asked for them a third time. Half an hour wait for two coffees is ridiculous. It really spoiled our experience. Didn't bother asking for a refund for the coffees as no doubt we would have been fobbed off again.

I particularly like to go to this place because of its good food, it is abundant and it is a pleasant place, and the prices are affordable.
