O'Dwyer's Bar and Grill in Portmarnock

They do a great carvery here and our Zoe is allowed in too. Full marks for their dog friendly welcome. We went on Thursday and had a half portion which was massive and more than enough. We speculated what a full portion would be like given there was only 3 or 4 euro difference in price. There is plenty of parking and plenty of tables so it doesnt look as though you have to book. We have eaten here before and we will be doing so again.

The food here is always beautiful, melt in your mouth, delicious.

First time. Mid afternoon for a beer and a chat. Clean, pleasant staff. Nice pint ! I'll be back.

Lovely service at the carvery. Food was tasty and good value. We queued, ordered and paid for two Americanos. We waited ten minutes went up and asked for them again. Ten minutes later we went up and asked for them and after a total half an hour wait we gave up and decided to leave the place as we felt like we were a nuisance when we asked for them a third time. Half an hour wait for two coffees is ridiculous. It really spoiled our experience. Didn't bother asking for a refund for the coffees as no doubt we would have been fobbed off again.

I particularly like to go to this place because of its good food, it is abundant and it is a pleasant place, and the prices are affordable.

It was quiet for a Saturday which we didn't mind after a long day at the beach. But after giving our order for food and drinks we had no more service at all. Eventually we made our own way to the bar to pay for what we had and left.

Ques can be long and finding a table can be a struggle but it is to be expected as its one of the nicest carvery dinners to be got in Dublin
