We grew up eating O'Hara's bread and we especially love the new sourdough ranges. Bakery 51 is an excellent addition to Ballina. The food and staff are excellent. I highly recommend visiting. O'Hara's sponsored an event (Empower Her Wellness) that I was involved with last year and they also sponsored Cancer Action Mayo a number of years ago. They are a great Mayo brand and very generous to the local community.

The Treehouse

24/06/2025: The place is nice, spacious and extremely handy for meeting people (especially with kids) and they have huts and sheltered areas for the rain. The place falls down on everything else though. The service and food are just subpar. It took them 5 minutes to take my order while I waited at the counter all the while just walking back and forth and talking. And this happened again, when I went back up for a cookie, there were 3 people in the line in front of me and it took 10 minutes to take their orders. The breakfast roll ordered first was burnt and just black pudding with too much salt. The cookie was mediocre and cost €5, which was not displayed anywhere.
15/06/2025: Great food. Service seemed a little chaotic and not following order position. Coffee lid was dirty on my cup. Other than that nice!

07/10/2025: We visit here regularly and I have to say all we ever see, is staff doing there best. We live in a world where we all know, these jobs are often not the career of choice, nor are they rewarding- but the management and staff at this location work hard, many have been there a long time and are only human. Giving the volume of footfall here the area is clean, the food is good and affordable and the coffee is among the best there is...
