Old House Restaurant in Mullingar

22/12/2024: We regularly visit for breakfast and lunch but last night was our first time to try the evening dining experience. It was, quite simply, OUTSTANDING! The atmosphere was just fabulous, service was beyond compare and the food was “off-the-scale”, gorgeous! The flavours, the presentation and the quality of the food were amazing. I particularly liked that there was lots of space. The tables are not on top of each other and they are not trying to cram customers in like sardines. The staff were fabulous. They were not rushing about. They had time for us and we were never rushed. They had enough time to chat and have a laugh with us. They were knowledgeable about everything on the menu and the could not have been more attentive. Despite such a large premises; it was cosy, inviting and very welcoming. The staff is friendly and attentive, which adds to the overall experience.
