Old Lodge Gastro Pub, menu in Shannon legal town

Good food but poor serving. Wait for 20 minutes for my pint of Guinness. My dish was ready fastly and I get it, but my 3 friends on my table waiting food for next 30 minutes. I saw very hungry eyes of my friends… all food should be ready for all, not for one of company. I can’t recommend this place, cocktails for my wife was so-so, and Guinness poured from old barrel.

A good Irish pub where you can taste delicious typical dishes and a variety of meat and fish. Worth trying as a good place to chat with friends, family and alone with the possibility of enjoying a good selection of food and beers in front of a large TV to watch football or rugby matches or other local sports. Must try

The food was decent, worthy of a 3-star rating, but I couldn’t justify giving it a 4. I ordered the house special—lamb shank with mashed potatoes, gravy, and a side of carrots and turnips. The food arrived on time, which was a plus. However, the lamb was a bit tough, and while the shank looked substantial, there wasn’t as much meat as I’d expected. The portion size was reasonable, but the flavor could’ve been more refined. Also got a Pino Grigio for 27€ have had better at much cheaper price. For dessert, I had the apple crumble with custard and an apple tart. The portion sizes felt small for the price. The apple crumble, in particular, was disappointing—it was steaming hot in the middle and cold on the outside, clearly microwaved, and almost burnt my mouth. Later, I ordered room service, which I’d rate around 6.5/10—consistent with the restaurant experience. Would I return to the restaurant if I weren’t staying at the hotel? Honestly, probably not.

Always a great place to eat. Friendly staff and good atmosphere.

Great local place in Shannon with a lot of locals on the weekend. It is part of the hotel, and conveniently located near Shannon airport. Great spot for those with an early flight.

Lovely food and lovely staff although the power went off while I was having my pasta which isn’t ideal but sure what can you do

På en arbetsresa till Shannon bodde vi på Shannon Springs Hotel och besökte den lokala puben. Jag åt en Pork som jag förväntade skulle bestå av pork shops men var bara fyra torra skivor av fläskkött. Min kollega tog en Irish tapas som dock var var bra och riklig. Personalen var trevlig och uppmärksam.
