Old Mill in Dublin

Called in at lunch time today, very busy but they seated us after around 3mins as we were lucky a few people were just leaving. My hubby had Irish Stew (comes with bread) and a pint, I had homemade cottage pie and a hot chocolate, came to around €48 which is expensive but considering you're right in the heart of the Temple Bar area that's standard price. Everything we had was top quality, really good quality beef in cottage pie and they also give a side of gravy that's so tasty and full of roast vegetables, it really compliments the dish. Hubby said lamb in his stew was so tender and tasty! Trust me you won't need to order the additional chips (€3 extra) as the mains on their own are huge!! Staff very friendly and courteous. Bathroom was clean and functional, no complaints. All in all a really good meal in an historic area of Dublin ☺️
