Old Orchard in Dublin

I loved the location and the atmosphere of the place. It is an elegant pub-restaurant from the moment you are at the entrance and the burgers are the best 👌

I had dinner there recently on a Wednesday evening with a friend. It was very quiet but the service was still poor. No one approached us to ask if we wanted menus. I had to find one myself. No one approached us to take our order, my friend went up to the bar to order. One item was missing from the order, thankfully wasn’t on the bill. Spent the evening trying to catch the servers eye, had to holler for everything. The servers need adequate training. This is not exclusive to The Orchard, seems to be across the board for a lot of gastropubs and restaurants I’ve been to recently.

We were in the area of the Old Orchard recently and decided to pay a visit for lunch. We were not dissapointed. I had the delicious Pate and lots of toasted bread which I really appreciated. My husband had the sea food chowder which was full of delicious fish and Guinness brown bread. We could not even have coffee after as we were so full. We will definitely return again soon.

Waitress was asked for another coffee and never returned with it.

Food is ok Good service Lively

Great place for families. We didn't have the food but it looked great. We are a couple so it was nice to watch the rugby and have a few beers.

Hate that every table is booked nearly every weekend even in December. You are constantly being told you have to move

Went here for Christmas lunch. The food was excellent. Everything was really tasty. The servers were very attentive and friendly. Would definitely eat here again.
