So I'm a big fan of this pub, has always been great, a really nice pint. But went in tonight, €7.10 for a pint of Guinness? Utter rip off. This is why no one can afford to go out anymore.

What makes this place standout is the warm welcome and hospitality of the owners, a husband and wife team. Simply put, they are that couple who’ve been married 30+ years, who care about their business and they care that diners have a memorable visit well worth the reasonable cost. We were on a Trafalgar tour and had a great meal with desserts, coffees, and choice of cocktails. The servings were huge and I loved the berry cobbler!

16/08/2025: Recently wandered in on a quiet Saturday afternoon after a long walk out from city centre and before returning back to Spain. I had the best turkey and ham dinner ever....it was like having my Christmas dinner early.....perfect in every way and served by a very professional server named Emma I think. Don't know when I'll be back...but I will....please don't change in the meantime. I also love their idea of Spanish Tapas.....next time eh!
