Old Spot in Dublin

True Irish style from the staff to the Menu. Great Restaurant

Staff, food, Guinness pour, whiskey. Everything top notch. Oysters were fresh and tasty. Mussels had just the right amount of spice / bite. The cod could not have been better. All the staff there were amazing Adding to my review. Went back the next day and had the sunday roast chicken. There was a huge line up before the 1230pm opening and for good reason! Unfortunately heading back to Canada as the roast beef was next on my list

We had a great experience at the old spot. Went on a spontaneous stop looking for dinner. This spot has been nominated for Michelin star on multiple occasions. The food was good and the service was even better. The tuna appetizer although small, was delicious. The bread did not stand out for me. It was not bad, it was not anything that stood out like everything else did. The burger was awesome. Made with wagyu beef. Came with a side of fries. Definitely a level up from your average burger. The fish and chips were also tasty. The batter was light and the fish was flavorful. The fries were served as sides on both meals and they tasted fresh and just crunchy enough to be just right. The fish came with a side of mushy pees which were better tasting than others we tried during our stay in Dublin. Overall the location offers a great selection of drinks and a great menu. The location is dimly lit which we enjoyed. Great setting for dinner with friends or a romantic meal. The outside first impression doesn’t do it justice. Location clean and the staff professional and friendly. Don’t forget, you should tip in Ireland! I know much of Europe the idea of tipping is different. Visitors to Ireland, tip!

Service was excellent. My fish was bland but the prawn risotto was nice. Upstairs was uncomfortably noisy. Food was a little pricey for the quality delivered. Box ticked but don't think I'll be returning soon.

Hands down one of the best places we ate in Dublin. Food, ambiance, service — everything was flawless.

We loved this gastropub!! we were last in on a monday night and they never rushed us. the pork chop, the burger, the bread and butter, the strawberry pavlova -sublime. And the staff are so kind and clearly know their menu! Go here instead of one of the overpriced places in temple bar- you’ll thank yourself

Amazing. Having now lived in Dublin for 1 year, I can honestly say it is the best quality restaurant I have dined in. From the food, staff, wine everything was 100% beyond expectations. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

The Old Spot is a great pub with good food, good service and a good atmosphere. I sat at the bar and ordered the Hake special. I substituted colcannon because I have been wanting to try it. The pub is off the main road a bit, and under the railroad bridge, but it is very nice inside.

Fuimos a asar el domingo, pero llegamos un poco tarde. Cuando se agotan, se agotan. Sin embargo, fueron muy complacientes con recomendar otras opciones. El personal era muy amable y la comida y las bebidas eran geniales. Llega temprano para un asado dominical : )

Qué lugar increíble para la comida. El Guiness sabe mejor aquí. La comida es mejor que muchos lugares en los que he estado en mis más de 40 años de vida, y el servicio es tan amable y atento.
