Old Spot in Dublin

I do this with a heavy heart. Venue is lovely. Staff are pleasant and professional. Superb cocktail (Bee's wobbly knees) and the the food in general was excellent. I had the battered fish and chips. The fish was flakey, the batter crispy and served at an Ideal temperature. I just don't know what happened with the seasoning? It was if someone had dropped a salt cellar into the batter. Never in my life had a meal so salty. I'm assuming it was a mistake and would try again 🤷‍♂️

Cosy restaurant with high end pub food. Great drinks selection. Friendly but slow service.

Best roast dinner in Dublin. Food and wine were sensational and the staff were just as good. Thank you, Maria, Carlos and Gavo. Took care of us the entire evening and cannot recommend this place enough.

Came here as it boasted the best Sunday roast in Dublin. I'm yet to find one that comes close to the one served at St Annes GA club in Tallaght. Roast beef and steamed veg bang on, yorkshires not enough black pepper, roast potatoes not done under or around the joint and tasted bland because of this, restaurant should invest in decent steak knives. Gravy no where near enough and no mash! Was disspointed given this was a Michelin restauraunt.

Lovely spot for roast and also dinner! My go to places for Sunday roast with friends and also dinner with colleagues or my family. Tuna, oyster, mussel are great! But their burger and roast are also amazing ! Service is also good. Very friendly and helpful

I recently went with some friends. We each had a Sunday Roast. The food was a good portion and tasty. However, the staff put a lot of pressure on us to order quickly and pay, coming over several times asking us to order (in the first 15 mins) and wanted the table back half an hour before our booked slot was meant to end. This way we felt very rushed throughout our meal. Since we were a bigger group, we made several payments and each rounded up. The staff came back claiming we hadn't paid enough even though we each overpaid. While the food was great, the staff was not friendly and made the overall experience less enjoyable. Good for a Sunday Roast but only if you are anyways pressed for time.

I had my first roast beef experience with my Irish friend. The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend it. They have Christmas decorations now, which gives the place an amazing atmosphere.
