The best meal I’ve had in Ireland so far. Oysters were fresh with a classic red wine vinaigrette. The ponzu bluefin tuna was a surprise- delicate flavours but richened by the creaminess of the avocado. A perfectly-cooked pork chop followed for mains, with colcannon, apple puree, a syrupy cider jus and the only black pudding I’ve ever enjoyed! Finally, sticky toffee pudding for dessert with burnt banana ice cream. I make banana milk gelati at home but this was better than any I’ve made. Lovely chablis and nebiolo ti accompany, rounding out a pretty perfect meal. The service was 10/10 and interior and ambience were warm and inviting. I can’t fault this gastropub at all and will certainly be recommending!

A great place on the Dublin restaurant scene. I had the chicken and it was very tasty. The portion was filling. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. They also have a variety of bottled and tap beers available. I must emphasize the excellent service, which was very helpful and friendly.

Optó por el almuerzo Carvery (carne asada) absolutamente salvaje ... todo era de primera categoría. Compartimos las croquetas el atún y los músculos de pil pil para empezar... no me puedo mover estoy pegado a la silla... enormes porciones deliciosas... cielo

Volví al Old Spot por segunda vez para el Sunday Roast y realmente no decepcionó. Anteriormente habíamos visitado y la rigidez no era libre de nueces, pero sonó con anticipación para aconsejar de la alergia esta vez y no podrían haber sido más complacientes, incluso haciendo un pequeño lote especial de relleno libre de nueces para que mi pareja obtuvo la experiencia completa! Adrian nos sirvió por segunda vez y era excepcional, educado y cálido con la manera de mesa perfecta, bravo! ¡No podemos esperar para volver y mantener este lugar muy alto en nuestra estimación!
