Old Spot in Dublin

I thought that the sticky toffee pudding would save an otherwise very average meal but even that was dry and lacked flavour (although the banana ice cream was delicious). Seated right next to the door meant it was very cold and my food got cold very quickly because of the constant draft from opening and closing. Not sure it's worth the high prices but service was good and the Christmas decorations added a nice, festive atmosphere. Packed on a Thursday evening.

Great food, service was quick and some of the staff are super nice. Others made us feel 'unwanted' rushing us and asking us to return the table half an hour before it was due.

Went there for breakfast and was not disappointed. Great food, service and atmosphere.

My partner and I celebrated our wedding with the most incredible evening at The Old Spot on Friday. Alisa was so amazing in helping us plan our evening and was so accommodating with our questions and requests. On the night our meal was absolutely delicious and all of our guests could not stop raving about the food. And the real gem of The Old Spot is the phenomenal staff who went above and beyond for us on the night. I cannot say enough to compliment Hazel, Gabo, Simon and all of the staff who made our experience so special. Thank you all so much ❤️

A bit underwhelming and overpriced for what is essentially pub grub. Seems to be going for restaurant vibes and prices but the food doesn’t match the aspiration unfortunately.

Lovely setting, disappointed with the food, cod was so salty and generally felt like everything was very greasy. We had read other reviews and had high expectations, but we missed the roast so maybe that was the winner.

Booked for a Sunday roast for a group of 7 of us, visiting Dublin for the first time. This was the best roast I have ever eaten, the staff were so lovely and the atmosphere was great, couldn’t recommend this place anymore!

The Old Spot was recommended to us by our friend John,he was on point . We enjoyed a fantastic steak dinner,cocktails and a few pints.Atmosphere was great .

Visitamos este restaurante para celebrar el cumpleaños de mi marido. Realmente disfrutamos del ambiente familiar allí. Nos sentimos muy bien atendidos y muy especiales también. Y por último: ¡la comida! ¡Fue magnífico! No solo parecía una obra maestra, sino que también sabía delicioso. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar si usted está buscando un lugar para pasar una noche especial. Gracias una vez más ❤️

We had an amazing Sunday lunch here. Food was so good and plenty of it. Cocktail was sublime! Denise was an exceptional front of house host. Will definitely go back!
