Old Spot in Dublin

A strong performance! The place may be called The Old Spot, but it's anything but outdated. Top-notch service, great people, a pleasant atmosphere, and delicious, not-so-cheap food. Still, a recommendation with the highest number of stars and points.

Aged steak was fabulous, the one entre per person was a worry but the portions were okay as long as you do not order any apts.

Great experience, nice stuff and delicious food

We went there as a group of 8 on the last night of a family history trip I organised at the beginning of July. It was a great end to the week. The food and wine were excellent but what really made it stand out from the other restaurants we ate at was the friendly, efficient service of our waiter. He judged the vibe of our group and handled us brilliantly. Inevitably ten days on I can't remember your name (sorry - I'm getting too old) but thanks for making sure we ended our trip on a high.

Absolutely beautiful meal on Sunday, could not fault a single thing. The photos look deceiving as the portions were huge. The service was outstanding, thank you so much from the 4 very hungover Newcastle girls. Will 100% be back when we are next back in Dublin.

This is such a great place for dinner and more. Great for business dinners. Guests will not be disappointed. Excellent food! I had the ahi tacos and burger. Wanting to go back for both! Service was the best! Everyone at our table raved of both.

My only regret was not coming in here sooner! Definitely a gem in this neighborhood, and warm friendly staff do a great job as well. Food and drinks excellent! Hope to be back soon 😊

Got the Mussels pil pil, roast tomato soup, chips and sourdough between two for lunch. Epic as always.

Fuimos a asar el domingo, pero llegamos un poco tarde. Cuando se agotan, se agotan. Sin embargo, fueron muy complacientes con recomendar otras opciones. El personal era muy amable y la comida y las bebidas eran geniales. Llega temprano para un asado dominical : )

Qué lugar increíble para la comida. El Guiness sabe mejor aquí. La comida es mejor que muchos lugares en los que he estado en mis más de 40 años de vida, y el servicio es tan amable y atento.
