Old Warehouse in Tullamore

We enjoyed few dinners and few cocktails in this restaurant in the last couple of years and food was always great and service was ok but today I had to basically chase the waiters to place an order. After dinner we asked for desert menu, menu was brought to the table but no one followed up to take the order nor clear the table in case we wanted tea or coffee with desert...I had to go over to look for a waiter to ask for desert. At last we asked for the bill and again no one came to the table to collect the bill card and give change, and I had to look for them at the bar where three waiters were standing and chatting away! Such a lovely place pity the service is poor even on a Tuesday afternoon when it wasn t very busy!

Food is very good but some of the servers can be a bit rude. Was at the summer bbq that they do outside and a manager was very rude to people in my group after they ordered something wrong. They didn't want ketchup on the burgers and it was added on anyways, which is fine but the manager starting complaining and was being quite rude. Turned me off going there again

Lovely food and fab menu, great llokong place. Sevice was great. Will go again.

After seeing an Instagram Reel showcasing the Old Warehouse, I decided to go there and experience it for myself. I arrived mid afternoon so there were none of the lovely dishes I saw on Instagram, only a run-of-the-mill menu selection. I had the Fish and Chip! It was ok..... The premises itself seems set up to cater for numbers and as it was mid afternoon there was no one else inside. This was during a lovely spell of weather, our Summer! There is a nice Al Fresco dining area right on the Canal Bank with a nice outlook. I moved out here for desert and coffee. I think to enjoy this place you need to go for dinner and drinks at the end of the day, preferably on Friday/Saturday.

+ Modern venue which is badly needed in Tullamore. Loads of places around town are run down and owners don't take pride in how it looks. Old Warehouse is vibe is great, especially during our short summers. Food is good and reasonable prices. + Dog friendly for outdoor seating. It's a major plus when a lot of places still treats dogs like a nuisance. - Service and staff. Moving forward I'll order from the bar directly and will pick up drinks myself, it takes way to long to receive any drinks if we are seated. Oh and ketchup, ordered fries like four times from here but staff never brings it no matter what. Small things but annoying.

Beautiful setting and the venue itself is gorgeous, really tastefully decorated and lovely atmosphere in the place. The evening we were there was EXTREMELY busy so Im assuming that impacted on the food quality etc. We had starter of the potato croquettes, they looked stunning and the parts of them that were hot were lovely, unfortunately most of it was cold. I then got the seafood pasta dish for mains. Again, this was ok and I ate it but I had to constantly add seasoning, which is rare for restaurant food. As I said Im assuming the issues were due to the sheer volume of food orders and I would definitely eat here again to see if that was the case!! But Beautiful venue.

A great addition to Tullamore with an old time atmosphere in keeping with the building's heritage.
