Olive's Seoul Food in Claremorris

I have been here 3 times in the last 2 weeks I want everything on the menu. Take away prawn stir-fry.. half and half delicious. Went for a family meal all 6 of us starters desserts and drinks everybody thrilled with their food. Had lunch today with my niece lovely atmosphere prompt service. I cannot say enough good things about this little slice of heaven in claremorris. I'll be back .

Been wanting to come here for ages…finally made it really fantastic Korean food in Mayo! Great to see. Well worth the visit.

Dined here on the 27th December as a couple. Food was excellent, I really enjoyed the Udon noodles and the chicken wings. The place is decorated nicely and it's a comfortable place to eat. Food also came out really fast so was happy with this. However when we were finished our main course no one came to clear our plates or offer a desert menu. My wife wanted to try a desert and I would have had a cocktail or maybe a desert as well. We waited for about ten mins and when our plates weren't cleared we got up and paid at the till (where three staff were busy having a chat). Staff not doing their job cost the restaurant about 20 quid. If I was the owner I'd be very annoyed.

It was the kimchi of the same name in the asian groceries in Galway that led us here. The dining environment is good and the service is considerate. I am grateful to be able to eat such authentic Korean food on the west coast of Ireland. Especially during the cold season, it's a perfect experience to have a steaming bowl of kimchi, tofu and pork belly broth for dinner. The tteokboki at this restaurant is also almost perfect. However, the fly in the ointment is that the smell of beef in the beef broth is too strong. Although the soup is well seasoned, the beef is clearly not properly processed. An uncommon mushroom in Korean bibimbap gave me a good experience. Bibimbap does not have the crispy skin. It would be better if the vegetables were stir-fried with sesame oil. But overall the restaurant is not bad, highly recommend the fried rice cakes.

Lived in Korea for 3 years and was looking for a good place to eat back home. Amazing!

Amazing food, well worthy, try everything!

Really enjoyed our takeaway from Olive’s this weekend ! Would recommend the sushi and the fried chicken. Portions were generous and food was very fresh. Enjoyed the atmosphere in the restaurant while we waited to collect our takeaway.

Delicious food with generous portions. We ordered the bibimbap with chicken and the beef bulgogi and four soft drinks. Total €47. The meals were so flavoursome, the ingredients fresh and huge portions (I took home half of my meal). We will be coming again. (The restaurant is above a pub and accessible via a staircase)
