Really enjoyed our takeaway from Olive’s this weekend ! Would recommend the sushi and the fried chicken. Portions were generous and food was very fresh. Enjoyed the atmosphere in the restaurant while we waited to collect our takeaway.

Delicious food with generous portions. We ordered the bibimbap with chicken and the beef bulgogi and four soft drinks. Total €47. The meals were so flavoursome, the ingredients fresh and huge portions (I took home half of my meal). We will be coming again. (The restaurant is above a pub and accessible via a staircase)

First time at Olive's and first time trying Korean food. I took my son as a birthday treat and he is vegan and I am vegetarian, there was plenty of choice for both. The service was very attentive without feeling bothered, the food was delicious. Highly recommend.

Loved this place! Great food and great service. I even got hot sake, which is been craving! My husband ordered the fire KFC and I ordered the stir fried spicy prawns with rice. Really great food.

Wow! Wasn't expecting this. A really great restaurant. Great flavours and terrific cooking. A gem in the west of Ireland. Good service too. Even a picture of Sonny in the stairway. What more could you ask. Will be back!

The Lighthouse Diner

16/09/2024: Thank you Mary & Sal for the excellent service in the catering business, I have used the Lighthouse for serval occasions and have no hesitations in giving the highest compliments for the food, service and friendliness. I highly recommend their chicken curry, beef stroganoff, potato gratin and pasta dishes with meat balls and side salads.
03/09/2024: I got Mary & Lighthouse Catering to cater for a family reunion last year & also for my 50th birthday party last month where over 60 people were in attendance. From the moment I spoke with Mary she put me at ease. She was so professional & knows her business really well. From the set up in the house to the delicious food to the return of delph & crockery the next day, nothing was a problem. I received so many compliments on the food & every bit was eaten. I have recommended Mary to my family, my neighbours and my friends. Thank you Mary & Lighthouse Catering, until the next time...
