O'Neills in Dublin

We had the Irish stew and BBQ sandwich. Food was good. Atmosphere was exactly what you would expect in an Irish pub. Was a great stop on our trip.

Very nice pub with a wide selection of beers, delicious food and a great atmosphere, and not on the Temple Bar pub mile.

We visited the pub on a sunny Sunday around 5:30 PM, and there were still plenty of free tables. Inside, it’s quite dark but very cozy and inviting. We ordered two beers with our food. The Shepherd’s Pie (€18.25) was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Some of the meat was nicely seared and crispy — for me, it was the best Shepherd’s Pie I’ve ever had. The Beef Stew with Guinness (€18.25) had a rich, hearty flavor. As a small side, it came with very tasty green beans and carrots, along with a few potatoes. The stew also had large chunks of carrot and celery, which added a unique and wonderful flavor. It was served with a side of bread and butter. The toilets were clean, and the staff was very kind and friendly. If we’re ever in Dublin again, we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

You need to order at the bar. Very lively while we were there - good atmosphere.

We had a great lunch and got a seat close to the bar. Table next to us had 3 Irish gentleman enjoying an afternoon drink. So great to see. We had the cottage pie and seafood chowder. Both were excellent. If you are looking for a quiet place this isn’t for you. It was lively and yet pleasant. Would recommend a visit.

I have been to this pub in a very central area twice. Very busy place and even though we arrived after 20 we still managed to find a table and eat. Beautiful view from the second floor overlooking the church. Excellent food. Both times I was satisfied. I recommend typical food. Price like in other places in Dublin, high for Italians.

Great place, quite spacious, no need to book a seat upstairs. Suitable for larger groups. Service only at the bar. They also have food. Very nice pub. I recommend.

Easy to find when traveling in Dublin, O’Neill’s doesn’t disappoint if you are looking for a tasty lunch and pint.

It was fun here. Lots of friendly Irish people and a good atmosphere.
