Opera House in Wicklow

I think this is one of my favourite places! You can have a coffee and a dessert, or enjoy a really tasty meal. It’s great that they don’t just serve sandwiches, but some really interesting food too. Thank you!!

Can see why this is a popular spot! A great selection of savory and sweet, with vegans considered as well. The focaccia sandwich was crunchy and light, hit the spot exactly. Adore all the cakes are small rounds, no messiness of a slice of cake. The Guinness cake was divine though a little dry (doesn't matter when the bitter flavour perfectly cuts the sweetness). The matcha was fine, perhaps too much milk for the amount of matcha used as the flavour was weak - I like a punch of earth in my matcha! That said, my next visit to Wicklow Town will most certainly include another visit here to try more food.

I don't normally put too many reviews up but I have to say, Opera is outstanding in every way. I love going in for a coffee and pastry, particularly the lemon meringue or the cream croissant but I have also taken some savory things home for a treat and they are always so tasty. I also have to say a shout out to all the lovely staff, they go above and beyond.

I loved the cafe under the precook owners and love this new version also. Great variety tasty lunch food and great and tasty salad options. I see some people have had some negative experiences . That is a shame. I have had only had great food and great service .

Such a friendly place ,great food and athmosphere the food is fantastic love the brownie in pastry with caramel , my niece got me my birthday cake here to and it was delicous , and the staff are lovely and welcoming one young lad cant be friendlier always has time for a chat ,aswell as all the staff top notch place / defo a place to visit in wicklow

Absolutely fabulous cafe with great friendly service, There salads are tasty i had the Broccoli & feta with cherry tomatoes topped with roasted hazelnuts. As are there varieties of pastries and cheese cakes. Definitely will be back.

Popped in to grab some cakes for friends calling in, such a wonderful lady working this morning ( blonde, sorry didnt catch your name!) So so helpful and informative. Amazing selection of cakes to choose from and so well priced. Place looks beautiful also, thank you !!
