We celebrated our wedding here, in August, with a small gathering of 11 family members, and we honestly couldn't have chosen a better place. Everything was absolutely perfect, and we couldn't be more grateful to the wonderful owners for making our day so special. The food was incredible, as always: delicious, authentic Italian cooking of the highest quality. The owner (Simona) was so helpful in putting together a special menu just for our celebration, and every single person commented on how amazing the food was. They even went out of their way to help us source a delicious cake from another Italian bakery, which was such a thoughtful touch. Simona truly went above and beyond. She decorated the restaurant with beautiful flowers, fairy lights and candles, creating the most romantic, elegant and intimate atmosphere. Having the restaurant entirely to ourselves made the occasion feel incredibly special, and the care and attention that went into every little detail meant so much to us. What really stood out was the genuine warmth, attentiveness and generosity of the staff throughout the whole experience. The service was exceptional, and the prices were remarkably reasonable for the quality of the food and the level of care we received. We were genuinely blown away by the entire experience. If you're looking for somewhere to celebrate a small wedding, a special family occasion or an intimate gathering, we couldn't recommend this restaurant highly enough. 15/10/2026: I bought a Penne Al Arrabiata, a Bruscheta and a Risotto cob n tartufo fresco. Me and my wife highly anticipated eating Italian food from an Italian restaurant. Unfortunately none of the ingredients are made fresh as one would expect from an Italian restaurant. The penne is bought from supermarket. The Risotto taste is unbearable. The sauses and overall taste is lifeless, no taste, no soul.

29/05/2026: Fantastic café. Great food, wonderful friendly mostly local staff and a great buzz in the place. I ate breakfast there twice last September and I'd nearly drive the 5 hours back to Belmullet just to have breakfast there again! The building was an old dance hall and it feels like there is an echo of the old atmosphere still there. Really great wholesome food served by friendly staff who are willing and able to pause and chat to give you the low down on the area and what to see and do. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

11/08/2026: This is real food! Generous, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented dishes. One small drawback, however: too many dishes with an extra charge on a two-course menu priced at €42. Efficient and friendly service, attractive contemporary decor.

09/08/2026: A lovely meal at the very popular Blue restaurant. Interesting choice of starters and mains with enough variety for everyone. We enjoyed our shared starter of Goat cheese bruschetta bursting with flavour and interesting fish mains. A glass of bubbles and a jug of homemade lemonade and we were all set. Windows wide open on a lovely summers evening and the place was hopping, which did bring up the noise a bit. Hats off to all the serving team - they were on the ball all evening.

20/07/2026: It's a real shame that this restaurant will be closing soon. The chef is returning to his home country.

28/09/2026: Hannahs was so good it's making my boyfriend mad. Just about every day I look at this picture of the beautiful triple Decker BBQ club sandwich and side of egg salad I had during my trip to Ireland and get sad that I live on a different continent. It has consumed my thoughts. I need more of it in my life. I spent about €10 for the sandwich and egg salad. Went a little crazy and got some coffee cake for less than €3 and it was also fantastic
