The best restaurants in Wicklow

27/03/2026: Last night we phoned and spoke with Samona. We ordered a takeaway of mixed salad, tagliolini with homemade bread. OMG the food was absolutely mouth watering and delicious 😋. We will definitely order again. Please note you can also dine in as well.

25/03/2026: The food is so delicious, the owners are all so friendly, and the pizza comes out super fast!!! Above all, it's so tasty and the service is so good that if you visit here to wrap up your trip, you can have a happy vacation!

20/09/2025: Great folks, great coffee. Also had the lotus cinnamon roll. It was fresh and truly out of the world. The food is prepared fresh in their own kitchen and sells out fast.

19/10/2025: I go out of my way almost every week to get the Lebanese Falafel Wrap from this place. (It's closed on Mondays). The lentil soup is also perfection. The baklava is great to take home and serve as a dessert. One piece is enough per person I think; they are small but packed with just the right amount of sweetness and bite. Service is very friendly, it feels like a micro-holiday every time I go in there.

19/08/2025: Great bar. Music, atmosphere and of course Tracey and Ash behind the bar. They got rid of the draught Bitburger (booo!), but still have the most interesting range of draught beers in the town.

06/04/2026: Such a lovely stay! Really comfy, cosy rooms, super clean, really calm and quiet, and right in the centre. Beautiful view of the river while you have breakfast! Parking was on street and easy and the food was delish. They adapted the menu for me to make it gluten free too. Super worth the money and a really lovely stay. Thank you so much! WiFi wasn't working though, we did ask about it but it didn't get fixed. Just FYI! Thanks so much!

02/04/2026: Had my first Guinness beer (in Ireland) here. Food was fantastic and view was outstanding.

28/03/2026: Ordered starter wings, gave instructions I'll be sitting outside. No food came, went inside looking for food, it was left at the end of bar getting cold. Plus no celery 6/10.....Crazy

23/03/2026: Unfortunately, the meal I ordered was a joke. I ordered the seafood linguine, but what I received was just pasta in a creamy sauce with a few tiny pieces of cooked carrot and only two small prawns. There was nothing else included. I paid €22 for a plate of plain pasta and two prawns, which is extremely disappointing. A simple plate of pasta with just two prawns should cost €5 at most. The meal could have been delicious, but only if they had decided to include more than just two prawns and a few carrots. NOT FAIR for a customer !

09/08/2025: My cappuccino was fabulous and the staff were super friendly. Bit sad that i was tight on time and had to get a takeaway. Next time I am in Wicklow, I will have food and will dine in. Can't wait !!

12/11/2025: I love the Coffee Shop as it is the nearest thing to an English cafe i can find in Ireland. I lived in England for most of my life and love sitting beside the mullion window in the Coffee Shop. Thankfully this cafe has now reopened after a 3 month closure following a fire in the kitchen. It is back to business as usual. The food as always is very good quality, the service efficient and the new staff very nice. I am so pleased to see this lovely cafe open again
