I'd never consider posting a negative review, but I did not have a good experience here. In short, the interaction we had was not positive. Usually when staff/locations are busy, it's understandable that interactions are rushed. Unfortunately, I felt that we were treated with disdain, which was really off putting and we ended up leaving the venue completely.
I fully appreciate any policy that an establishment would have concerning booking. In this case it was not outlined on the website, and the manner in which it was communicated to us onsite carried discriminatory undertones (in my opinion).
12/02/2024: Bad experience here on a recent trip. Only our second time there but unfortunately our experience on the second occasion means we will not be returning. Had our little dog with us, in my arms, directed to sit outside. Tables outside were filthy and covered in insects. Lady allowed us sit in a side room but was very unfriendly. Very upset at the manner in which we were spoken to and treated. One slice of toast was also given between two adults and staff seemed under pressure and flustered.

31/03/2024: Came for lunch on a sunny Sunday in Wicklow. Food was great, had vegetarian options. Sat on the patio as we had a dog with us. Service was quick and very friendly
28/03/2024: The location is really nicely located on the river and offers a very nice view.
Unfortunately we were not satisfied with our service today. Despite repeated eye contact with the waitresses, our drinks orders were only accepted after repeated inquiries. The food was okay, although I would have expected more given the location.
When it came to the bill or payment, it was the same as at the beginning of the visit. In total we had to wait 20 minutes until we were finally allowed to pay. During this time, unoccupied tables were cleaned for the third time, even though this was not initially necessary.
Unfortunately this was the case, even though it was very empty. Staff absolutely not attentive.
Very unfortunate.
