Opium in Dublin

Great food, small menu but tasty, service is very efficient and staff are very friendly. Was out for work Christmas party, a large group was not an issue for them to serve.

Went with 3 ladies and had the Christmas menu and the food was absolutely gorgeous the shared starters and got beef chilli. Service was brilliant too highly recommend.

The Opium restaurant in Dublin is a place not to be missed in Dublin! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with great kindness by the waiters, which made the experience even more pleasant. My friend and I opted for pad thai, which was absolutely delicious and perfectly done. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. I highly recommend Opium for the quality of the cuisine and the impeccable service!”

The menu was impressive, offering a variety of dishes that made it hard to choose. Everyone in the group ordered something different, and the food overall was well-prepared and flavorful. I decided to try the steak, the only one on the menu, thinking it would be a standout option. The price was a bit higher than average, which raised my expectations. I ordered it medium, but unfortunately, it arrived well-done. While I did notify the staff, who graciously offered to replace it, I chose not to, as I didn’t want to waste food. To their credit, they provided a complimentary drink to make up for it, which was a thoughtful gesture. Despite this small hiccup, the overall experience was enjoyable, from the friendly service to the vibrant ambiance. I’d definitely recommend visiting Opium for its great starters, drinks, and lively atmosphere—it’s a place worth trying!

Went for an early bird on Sunday, staff excellent, restaurant lovely, food and drinks fantastic. Great value for money. Will be back.
