OSAKA japanese & Korean BBQ Restaurant in Galway

My friend and I booked a table there for 7 people. This is based in my own opinion First time: first time going there and it seems alright. Not too shabby. It’s really pretty Food wise: I myself as a sushi lover , the sushi is actually not too bad but the price and the food that they’re serving us just doesn’t match. I just feel like they were overcharging us for both the bbq and the sushi. We got the bbq for 2 for €50 something and the sushi platter for €33.20 for the 4 of us. The rest they ordered ramen. It just clearly feels like just not enough. Staff: very good not too bad. Overall I felt like I wasted my money going there with my friends as I said the pricing doesn’t match with the food they served us. Overall I would’ve went somewhere else.

Amazing food, great staff, excellent service. Everything was great and food was just incredibly good. I will go back to Osaka a lot. Good thing is that they have another restaurant nearby Eye Square.

Beautiful building. Friendly wait staff. Lots of options on the menu including korean barbecue and hot pot, although the broths for the hot pot are very diluted. The sushi is very good, especially their large sushi platters. Thus far all the meals ive had there have very good portion sizes

If you are a sushi lover then I would look for a different restaurant. IMPORTANT: I am rating only sushi here as I never got BBQ in this restaurant. Sushi are SO SO... They are tasty, but for this price they should be way better. First of all need to say that everything is fresh, some of the things are, probably, too fresh. Like an avocado in every sushi roll was harder than cucumber, literally crunchy, but should be smooth as butter. Second thing and probably the most important for me as a sushi lover: There is NO cream cheese in them, I mean if it's "Salmon and avocado" roll, it will contain rice, nori, salmon and avocado, sesame seeds. That's all. The big rolls, they are tasty, but lack of phila cheese in them makes them very average and dry. Cmon, Salmon, Nori and Phila cheese it's one of the best combinations for a silky and smooth, creamy sushi. Should I say that the big sushi (Futomaki) are good for two bites, they just don't fit into your mouth. And if you order them for collection they will be squeezed into a small box and smashed from the top. I will not reduce my rate for that as we all know it's better to enjoy the food on the spot. Rice were coocked to perfection.

We drove down from Tipperary, it was well worth the drive. The food is amazing and a big portion. Will highly recommend

Food was delicious - such a nice spot for sushi. Portion sizes are quite big for one person, so good value too. Staff were friendly and the service was quick. Definitely worth a visit!

The food is to die for..the staff are the best and the outdoors has the best view....
