Osteria Lucio in Dublin

Cozy place, the gnocchi with ragu was very good, with several types of meat in this dish and a tasty sauce. We also ordered mushroom pasta and seafood pasta. The polenta had a unique flavor, very good. The service was a bit disappointing because it took a long time, and there was a group having happy hour next to us, so we could barely talk.

Nice interior and good food. The staff were very attentive and friendly, though their frequent refills sometimes interrupted the conversation. A slightly more relaxed approach would make the experience much more enjoyable.

The food was tasty but was a bit disappointed in glass of red wine of 12.50.

Had an excellent meal there recently with a group, the Chicken Saltimbocca, the suckling pig, the Arancini, it was all superb. Really nice service also.

Lovely italian restaurant. food was exceptionally good. starters very good, main course was the the pig shoulder which was lovely and tender, we then went with a coffee and grappa which was fair to say complimented the meal.what was missing was the italian style of offerings.perhaps a limoncello as a complimentary drink upon paying 180 euro on a meal.in Italy from my experience this is the case but obviously not here l.cant fault the food but the special touch needs to be looked at to entice customers back.

Had a fantastic experience at Osteria Lucio. The food was delicious and of exceptional quality, every dish was beautifully prepared and packed with flavour. The service was truly unmatched; Ross, Paulo, and the entire team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after from start to finish. The building itself is so unique and adds to the fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience.

Exceptional Italian food with incredibly warm and courteous staff. We had the Big Lucio ("Eat like an Italian") which gave us a taste of dishes across the menu, including the centrepiece dish of "Suckling Pig Shoulder Al Forno", which was perfectly tender and flavoursome with a delicious crispy crackling skin. Each part of our meal, from starter to drinks, were tended to by a whole team of professional staff, with the wonderful front of house Paulo ensuring we were being looked after at all times. We will certainly be coming back to Osteria Lucio, and we will be bringing friends and family for sure.

Delicious pre-theatre meal for two here over the weekend. After an initial fumble where we were directed to a tiny table wedged into a corner almost under the bar, very close to an occupied table of 6 in a half empty restaurant, the service thereafter was excellent. I asked for another table "with a bit more space" and was guided towards one after a slight delay. The quality of food is unquestionable. The arancini were very good and the Ragu was one of the best slow cooked meals my dining partner had ever tasted. The ravioli was also perfectly made, perfectly cooked and delicious. A side of delicious sourdough was the perfect scoop for the pasta sauce. Excellent Italian food served in a comfortable environment (even when the place got very busy) by experienced, attentive and efficient staff - what's not to love? We'll definitely be back.

Impresionante comida y hermoso lugar. El personal era muy amable y acogedor. La cocina era excepcional. Sin duda volvería.

Era nuestra primera vez allí. Desde el principio la fantástica bienvenida y la atención por parte del personal fue notable ... la calidad de la comida ( y el vino! ) era excelente y mostró una gran atención al detalle. La habitación tenía un ambiente fantástico. Durante la comida que tuvimos, lo que podría haber sido un problema significativo, con uno de los cursos. Cuando lo pusimos en conocimiento del maître d, fue manejado de la forma más profesional. Esta es una marca de un gran restaurante. Volveremos... definitivamente.
