Osteria Lucio in Dublin

13/12/2024: Great bouldering walls, friendly staff. Friendly people. And they found my lost shoes!

24/11/2024: This place was awesome, the climbs were super challenging but the holds were very wet for some reason. The facilities were a bit run down, like the bathrooms weren't very nice, there was no changing room/shower and aesthetically everything was a bit "run down". But saying that, it made it really charming at the same time like the true focus was on the climbing and training, I can understand and appreciate that. The actual hold quality was very good and the upper level of climbs were very good, I had a great coffee and the staff were brilliant and very helpful. It's nice when the staff are enjoying themselves and are personable. I knocked a star off because the holds were quite wet and negative delta holds were impossible to use as a result, but I got a great workout and had fun. It was nice as a once-off visit, I'm sure I'd be a permanent member if I lived in Dublin but it's also very very expensive membership wise. Amazing community here, just this everything could look a bit nicer and it wouldn't hurt!
