Ox Mountain Lodge in Sligo

Our family had an absolutely magical two-night stay in this converted double-decker bus nestled in the mountains. What an incredible experience! The kids were beyond thrilled to sleep in a real red bus, and it made the whole trip feel like an adventure. The views from the bus were simply breathtaking – we woke up to stunning mountain scenery every morning. Dermot and Monica were fantastic - super responsive and helpful, They clearly care about their guests' experience. The location was also perfect for exploring the surrounding area; there was so much to see and do nearby. It's important to note that this is a glamping experience, so the utilities are basic, as you'd expect. However, the bus itself was well-equipped and warm, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Booked a wee getaway for me and the hubby as are son aged 3 called Dennis kept walking in mid doggy. It was a beautiful get away and it’s always been my dream to sleep in a bus as I hadn’t done in properly only across the back seats of the glider in Belfast when I was pished out my hole. Would definelty stay again even tho I’m walking with a limp from my hubby. Thank you guys, Lots of love Donna x

Conducted a yoga/wellness retreat in Ox Mountain Glamping in Oct 2024. Dermot and Monica were perfect hosts, assisting at every turn to make it so very special. Accommodations consist of quirky comfortable and quaint spaces... Up in the mountains of the west of Ireland, this place is a total gem, peaceful and private, yet lively with pet animals and a sheep in the nearby commonage. There are beautiful walks, and places to explore, and at the end of your day, there's a fresh water hot tub to chill out in. Common area is very well equipped and available as a space to practise yoga, meditation and team building events. Really delighted with the accommodation and interaction with Monica and Dermot. Wonderful people with a wonderful business.. check them out...

Just spent the weekend here with a group of adults. Such an experience. Dermot and Monica did everything to make this an experience to remember. Loved every minute. I will be bringing the kids back here as soon as I can. Such a beautiful, remote spot. Perfect for disconnecting and recharging in a beautiful, unique, glamping environment

Myself & my partner had amazing stay in the Ox Mountain Lodge, the lodge was so cosy and homely.The hot tub was fab. Everything from start to finish was perfect, Monica and dermot were so welcoming. The bed was super comfy! The house was warm and so clean. We will definetly be back soon Thank you for having us Dermot & Monica ☺️

We had a fantastic stay at Ox Mountain Glamping in Tubbercurry. The hosts, Monica and Dermot were so accommodating. They couldn't do enough for us. Between constant communication in the lead up to our stay, to a lovely warm welcome upon arrival, to phoning and ordering our takeaway for delivery. The Lodge and hot tub were spotless. We were very lucky to get beautiful weather so we were in such a good position to sit out and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside. Having no WiFi turned out to be a blessing as we really enjoyed being present in nature and playing fetch with Hunter the dog! The animals on the farm provided great entertainment too, especially the piggies 😆 All in all we had a great time and will definitely be back. Thanks so much guys
