Delighted to recommend this hidden gem! Had fish and chips, delicious and prawns with garlic bread, chips and salad, very tasty. Staff were very friendly and helpful, bathrooms were spotless.
Based on reviews here, we went well warned that the service can be hit and miss. With this in mind, we made sure to nab Nora as she was flying solo about the place (busy night with SeanChoiche on upstairs) and get our order in. She warned us it could be 30 minutes, so we were happy to sup our fresh Guinness while waiting. From there, everything ran smoothly. Nora was very pleasant, everything arrived as ordered and expected and we really enjoyed the views over Clare Island and a fabulous sunset. Maybe we were very relaxed after our sauna at BigStyle but overall we really enjoyed our meal and drink at P.Dan despite the gaffer taped seats. My 16 yo says the sticky toffee pudding was a highlight. We also had neither of the younger kids with us, which helped as there was no rush on the dinner.
