Stumbled across this little gem on the way back from the Guinness Storehouse. The sushi was amazing so fresh and extremely good value. The staff were very friendly, would highly recommend.

We ordered burgers and chips as a take away as we were in a hurry to make it to the Guinness Storehouse and the burgers were delicious and the chips were nice crunchy.

The food is amazing, 110%. We went to D05 and it was closed, but it didn’t say anything in the website, then we took the bus to D08 unit, and when we arrived there it was full and there was only one table reserved for 2 o’clock (that we didn’t find where to book in advance), we waited 20 minutes and after this the table was taken so in the same day we spent 2 hours trying to there because we are clients and we really love the food, but we got disappointed with all this lack of information.

Very good food but the somewhat confusing service seemed untrained for a small audience. I believe it will improve

Incredible! This place is by far one of the best restaurants I've ever been to, not only is the food, buy the way, perfect, but the service is wonderful. The attendants are incredible and super understanding, as well as always smiling and making you feel at home. Yesterday I went to the restaurant for the 1000th time and I never regret it.

My wife and I loved this restaurant! We opted for the sushi, even though the burgers did really tempt me. Having the all you can eat sushi was the best idea we had in Dublin. We ate so much and loved every bite. The staff were very friendly and accommodating helping us with a baby chair for our daughter. It’s quite cosy so worth making a reservation if you can.

Located not far from the Guiness factory, Panda serve a really great sushi dining experience, the place is not that big but you would be supprised by taste of their sushi. The sushi platter portion is big and the sashimi also so refreshing. Really recommend this place for a sushi lover.

Michie Sushi

09/12/2023: Absolutely a hidden gem off the main thoroughfare of Ranelagh. I did not think this restaurant actually existed for almost a year due to the odd location down a relatively residential road. To my most pleasant surprise, I wandered down the road one afternoon and found myself in the coziest, friendliest atmosphere I could imagine. It felt like I had wandered into a friend's living room. There are maybe 12 seats in the dining area, so even if the room was full, it was never too loud, and never too crowded. The walls are lined with awards and japanese-style art, including calligraphy and watercolor paintings. The music is lofi-beats with japanese flutes, bells, string instruments, etc., and creates a calming atmosphere. Ana is the host of the restaurant: she is always nearby and ready to help. I never felt once pressured to stay or to go faster. At this point, I've been at least six times, and have brought multiple friends with me. We've all agreed so far that Michie Ranelagh is a overall wonderful little shop, with great prices and great food. My favorite dishes: - Chirashi: A filling meal with a taste of every fish the shop offers, including fishes not often seen in sushi restaurants in this city! I've yet to find a restaurant other than Michie that has /good/ ikura (salmon roe). I've gotten this meal several times and have never once had a fault to note. - Dengoku: A savory appetizer of lightly battered tempura aubergine and soft/silken tofu. I can never cook aubergine correctly, so I jump for joy when a restaurant does it well. - My friends have said lovely things about the Salmon Platter, the Tuna Handroll, and the Pumpkin hosomaki (small roll) My least favorite dishes: - Agedashi Tofu: While the dashi sauce was delicious and a mix of savoury and sweet, the tempura coating of the silken tofu wasn't fully cooked or cripsy enough to stand up to the stock, so it turned into a gummy, glutinous slurp that distracted from the soft tofu. Sadly I was not a fan of that texture.

Anne's Bar & Hardware

10/03/2024: Nice spot for a quick pint but the tables are so weird! They all have a frame around the legs at your knees so you can't sit in to the table. Very odd and uncomfortable design.
02/03/2024: Loved this place, has everything you need from a pint of beer to remodelling your home!! Cheaper than most on Temple bar, quirky and fun, will be visiting again before we leave Dublin.
