Me and my partner have been coming back here over the past year and it’s never let us down! The food is consistently good, the staff very friendly and very reasonably priced considering the portion size and the service from the kitchen is exceptional.

Beautiful view with balcony. Thanks for offering vegan menu! Vietnamese rolls were tasty and the modified Pad Thai vegan good. They also offer vegan udon. Very pretty space, someone is a painter or gifted artist with color, use of blues and greens, white leather, light floors, quality 3d box- framed prints from Japan featuring Tori gates (symbol of passage to death) roped off or with celebratory bunting: thoughtful philosophy well designed. Buddha heads, Terrace one of the best locations! Tori gate, See you when it’s bunting!

We went for my son's birthday, we were seated by the window and as the restaurant has a 'STAIRS' and is above the aquarium, we had a lovely view out over Galway Bay. I don't enjoy dining over an aquarium and being able to see the ocean where all the fishies should really be. I don't eat fish, chicken, pork, lamb, egg, milk, etc...I just eat a little beef when I go out, but not at home. I ordered Singapore Noodles with beef. The other 4 guests all had something different. I ended up swapping a lot of my beef for the lovely big chunks of peppers and veg that my son had on his plate. I think a perfect side dish would be roasted veg like roasted peppers, carrots, parsnips, mushrooms and onions. I would love to see restaurants upping their game with lovely displays of vegetable side dishes and even starter platters for a family to have a wide choice of food they can share. We all ordered a meal each and we ordered extra chips, rice and noodles for the table. Well, there was nothing left for a doggy bag, we all ate everything. We ordered 4 cokes. The bill was about €111 and I left the change as a tip, so €120 for 5 people, so just under €25 each for a meal each, 3 extra sides and 4 cokes. The table looked wonderful and colourful with all the nice food. I was happy enough with that and the price, but I forgot to bring the birthday cake for my son. Everyone was happy. As I went to pay, there was an older gent from Wexford in front of me. He brought about 11 or more guests with him, and they all left, and he had a receipt as long as his leg, costing around €480, and he left a €20 tip. I think he got a bit of a shock when he saw the bill as it took him a few minutes to roll to the end of it and he was well into pension age. It was just like everyone expected him to pay. I said to him you can tell them you are 'Papa Poor' when you go out to them and ask for €40 per head. It's amazing how things add up if you are a group, so be sure you ask 'who is paying' before you get lumbered with a massive bill because they all walk out. He went to Papa Rich and came out Papa Poor! I went to Papa Rich and came out Mama Poor, but it was good value considering the costs of other restaurants. Papa Rich is about as good as you get, price-wise for food.
