The hidden gem of Thurles! Exquisite, flavoursome food complimented by the warm friendly attentive staff. I had the succulent tender chicken with gravy l could have drank. The mash potatoes were perfectly seasoned, the potatoe croquette with little hint of chives and crispy exterior was delicious. We agreed the chips were honesty the best we have EVER had, homemade and seasoned to perfection. The desserts which followed were heavenly, my friend had a beautifully cooked white chocolate blondie and l had the warm chocolate brownie with orange segments,crumble ice cream and a mouthwatering warm caramel sauce to pout over. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and Peter and the attentive warm staff truly made our experience one never to forget. Thank you.
We had a fabulous meal here. Family of 5 all taken care of very well. Amazing food from starters right through to dessert. We will most certainly be back. If I had a negative comment about dining out here is that the carpet could have been hovered before we were sat at our table. I give this 5 stars for food and service and the price point is also excellent. Top class and looking forward to a return visit.
We happened to pass by here and stopped in without reservation for a late lunch. Simply put, we had a fabulous meal here. The food was absolutely delicious, made fresh and served beautifully. The service was also great, very friendly, polite and efficient. We had such a lovely time we decided to stay on and have desserts and coffee — only to lose track of time and end up running late for an appointment! It was no trouble at all for the waitress to quickly settle up the bill and pack up our leftovers to take away. We really loved the ambience and thought it would be a terrific venue for private parties, family celebrations, etc.
We didn't know this place existed before our visit, but it will no doubt be a new regular for us!
