I thought the claim of “best pancakes” was maybe overshooting things, but honestly I could see it. These were thick, fluffy, and filling, the fruit was fresh, and even the sausages were good. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a sweeter breakfast or brunch option.

Tasty food! Given a table, then you queue up and order yourself. Served very quickly! Loads of sitting inside which wouldnt look it from the outside

To be honest, I now understand why these are called the best pancakes in town. I was in Galway for a quick three-day holiday and decided to grab breakfast on my last morning before catching the train. From the moment I walked in, the lady who greeted me was incredibly kind—she even let me leave my bag safely beside her while I ate. I ordered the American Dream with scrambled eggs and a caramel latte. Goodness, that pancake was something else, easily the best I’ve ever had. Huge, delicious, perfectly fluffy on the inside with just the right amount of crisp on the edges. And the coffee? Creamy, smooth, and genuinely satisfying. Even though I had to rush through it, I’d absolutely go back just to slow down and enjoy it properly next time.

Pascals was extremely satisfying, the portions were enormous so I recommend getting less than you think you need to avoid food waste, service was very efficient as it was self service, food came extremely quickly so if you need a quick big fix I recommend

It's a very quiet cafe with good prices. And with the best waiter in Galway, Mr. Adria. The better. I'll be back.
