Great pancakes, but long wait for tables

Excellent pancakes. I got the one with Nutella and strawberries. There's also a nice Italian guy in the place. Well done! Recommended.

One of my favourite places in Galway. The Bagels & French toast can both be made gluten free. All the staff are aware of gluten intolerance vs coeliacs. I always feel confident that I won’t be contaminated. This is my go to spot for a casual lunch bite. On busy days you will be waiting for a table. I prefer the Lower Abbeygate street location 100%

A must-visit whenever you go to Galway; we deliberately book hotels without breakfast so we can have it here. The pancakes are excellent, the coffees too, everything is very generous, and doggy bags are available. The scones are also excellent.

The pancakes were delicious and huge, quite heavy—I stayed full until dinner—but they're definitely worth trying, both the sweet and savory options. As for the rest of the food, we tried one of the baguettes, which was fairly standard and a much smaller portion compared to the pancakes (hence the 4-star rating). Plus, it came with supermarket fries.

Very nice food and service was very good. Good portion size, so make sure you are hungry.

I was looking for some delicious pancakes and this place is it. My meal was absolutely amazing. Though I might suggest that there's an option of a sweet syrup when ordering with the savory stuff, like with chicken. I still want syrup on the chicken, not a fan of mayo. I also ordered a milkshake and it took a bit of time, I gently reminded my server that I was waiting for the milkshake, she brought it pronto. And then another lady brought a cookie to apologize for the "delayed" milkshake. Such a nice gesture and top service. I appreciated that although the milkshake wasn't that delayed really. Good food, even better service!

Ridiculous pancakes, in the best possible way. Coffee was also top notch, and a neat location to boot. Highly recommend!

The pancakes were delicious and plentiful. The portion size is good for the price. The coffee is delicious.

The Pancakes are ok, Big fluffy pancakes that are a bit dry, I ordered Sunny side pancakes so I expected a nice fried egg with crispy bottom and runny yolk, what I got was almost completely hard yolk and no crisp that was an unfortunate disappointment, I had ordered both pancakes and a coffee but was served just the pancakes after about 15 minutes, I asked the waiter and he said it must be on the way, but it took another 10 minutes to get my coffee which I find quite unacceptable. The coffee was ok there is definitely better places for coffee around this area. Overall I'm very disappointed.
