Paulie's Pizza in Dublin

My wife and I visited last night for a quick dinner before a concert. I'm so glad we booked! It's very busy and having visited, I can see why. There's nothing not to like. It's cosy, staff are lovely and the food was amazing. My wife had the Gambas pasta dish. Loads of prawns and cooked without chili as requested. I had a pizza from the specials board. Dessert was an amazing tiramisu which we couldn't finish. Given the quality of the food, we think it represents great value. We will certainly visit again, but I wish it was closer to home so we could visit often!

We were bunch of hungry shouldy who has landed in Dublin and for the love of good food came in to Paulies Oh boy it truly lives up to its expectations. The vegetarian pizzas were savored more at our table for the freshness of the ingredients and the taste. The starters were great too and the tiramisu at the end was a treat. The service was great and the hosts were very gentle and helpful. All in all it was great experience

Paulie’s is decent with their food. However, the service is genuinely one of the worst I’ve seen in a while. Reservation at 21h, seated 21.15 at a table that’s half covered by the bar, beside a table so loud it’s enough to give anyone a migraine and there’s no crowd control at all. Food didn’t come for 50 minutes, and by the time it arrived we had less time to eat and leave. Upon explaining how we’ve made a reservation and wanted a nice experience, the only answer from the person at the door was “how am I supposed to know who’s coming on a match day”. Maybe try accepting walk-ins only, this was a big let down service wise. Good piza but you could find good pizza some place nicer.

They were busy but the waitress found a table quickly, the pizza was to die for and the drinks were top notch.

This place is amazing its a wee hidden gem and I’m glad I discovered it. The friendly natural greeting from the beginning possibly the manager? The restaurant was packed but he still took the time to welcome us and it didn’t feel rushed even though the place was wedged. Our waitress Anna was exceptional and went above and beyond. Thank you so much for the Arancini it was amazing and I’m so glad I got to taste it. The food is unreal, it was so authentic and the flavours amazing. This is one of the best pizza’s I’ve ever had, so good. And again when leaving everything felt relaxed and so friendly. I can’t wait to come back. Well done on having an amazing team and even more amazing food (amazing chefs).

Pizzas are really good!!! They also have monthly specials, which is a nice touch. The menu offers a wide variety of options, including pasta, starters, and of course, pizzas. It can get quite busy, but the waiting time isn’t too long. The tables are a bit close to each other, and some of them are slightly wobbly, which could be improved. That said, the service is outstanding. The staff are attentive, very kind, and make you feel well looked after. The chocolate mousse is perfect for sharing,it’s quite sweet, so splitting it is a great idea. Definitely will be back!

We chose this pizzeria at random. Excellent find! The pizzas are excellent, and the staff is lovely. We made a reservation, which I think is necessary.

Amazing service, Sandra and Dani were so kind and help with everything. I'm coeliac and they were so knowledgeable about allergies and gave me the best recommendation. Food was super tasty too!
