Pavarotti's in Athlone

This is a unique, little restaurant in a great part of town. Claude the owner is a gentleman and the food is consistently great!!

The pasta sauce had a nice sweet and sour flavor and the portion was generous. The sautéed mushrooms were very delicious.

We went because we couldn't find anywhere else for dinner, and it wasn't bad. The waitresses were very pleasant; they seated us without any problems and served us right away. The pizzas are decent, crust-free, and with a thin crust that stays upright, unlike Italian ones where the dough falls off when you pick it up. Overall, they were good, passable. The average price of a pizza is around €15, so it's not bad. The best thing is the people and the service. If you go, you'll have a decent dinner.
