Traditional Irish pub right in the Trinity bar neighborhood in Dublin. Drinks were very reasonably priced and we were able to find a place to sit and listen to the great traditional Irish music played on guitar. They also have a comedy club which is downstairs.

Great traditional Irish pub. During my Sunday evening visit we were 3 of 9 young people/tourist. Majority were 60+ yr old males. Traditional Irish music was outstanding...but loud. Highly encourage your visit. Side note the bartender reads hand signals for refills.

Went to the comedy club in the basement. It was cramped with no where to put a drink and we had to wait to be let down there even though the tickets we purchased online stated when the doors opened. Overall the comedy was good though.

Of all the pubs I visited in Dublin this one felt the most authentic, mostly by the vibe. Lots of locals go here. Great live music too.

The Comedian night was excellent. The compare was probably the best we have come across but the mix of the comedians balanced very well. Just to verify… there is no food here but plenty along the street. There are drinks available within packages and probably worth the cost.

Amazing experience here. Came from Scotland. Passed the pub and thought we'll go in, didn't want to leave ! Going back later! Will save the place for next time we're in Dublin! 100 percent recommend !!

Great pint of Guinness with live music, the place seems like a spot the locals come to, wasn't overcrowded with tourists. I recommend spending an evening here

10/08/2025: Always loved their Sausage rolls (any fillings), Passionfruit muffins, and Brownie! The sausage rolls are very well seasoned, buttery pastry with delicious sausage meat filling. The passionfruit muffins are not too sweet, which is amazing!. The brownie always got compliments whenever I brought it to, especially if it’s reheated in the microwave for a while, as it melts! And perfect to be paired with vanilla ice cream ☺️ Also this cafe is dog friendly 🐶 they provide some free dog treats, water bowl for thirsty doggo, and the outdoor seating by the river is always my go to! I ordered their sausage rolls platter for a team meeting at work, and everyone loved it! Very tasty, great texture, great presentation, and packed carefully with a proper box with several chutney dippings. Thank you!💗
21/07/2025: Met a colleague for lunch the other day. Sun was shining, we sat outside. Food and coffee were lovely. Nice spot by the River Liffey.
