Peddler Mac's Bar & Beer Garden in Athlone

Couldn’t recommend more. Great place! Pizzas were delicious.

Lovely pub brilliant atmosphere. We met paddy outside that saved our hungry belly’s, the pizza area was close to closing and paddy let us get our order and he went out of our way to let us order. The lads at the pizza counter were lovely and we couldn’t thank them enough.

Had a few pints of guiness which were lively , staff very attentive and live music was great , definitely a recommend

Popped into peddlers on a lovely Monday evening to be greeted by a lovely bar man called Niall he was so wellcoming made me lovely cocktails chatted in-between serving its a fine pub well worth a visit paid another visit the next evening and same great service and more staff were on a busy bar with lovely atmosphere also bar at the back don't miss out Callista and mickey from sligo

Cool, and new place inside something amazing

Great location, marvellous atmosphere, nice to see a load of locals out and about, it's like what most Irish bars use to be like with the music great craic and good drink. Security staff very friendly and well manor aswell as having a smile and about of craic. Bar staff good but don't pay much attention when they got an order they're in the zone of that order besides looking around to see who's next ect, only small thing but times have changed

Best place in town, always buzzing, plenty of seats, always good live music, love the beer garden in the summer. Great for watching live sports. Pizza is absolutely out of this world. Service appears to be selective and not in order even when it’s quiet, all the time. Very difficult to get the attention of the blonde lady behind the bar. I thought the Ukrainian customers who brought a dog shouldn’t have been let inside especially when loud music is being played, it wasn’t raining and there was plenty of seats outside. It’s no place for kids or pets. We are regular customers and we will be back. The positive outweighs the negative. One bartender in particular is very professional and serves amazing cocktails, you can see the effort in it (tall dark man with glasses and beard, appears to be the “lead”). Another reliable man behind the bar is Sean. Other than that it’s a great ambience and attention to detail. It’s a must to do in Athlone. Thanks for your service and see you again

Great destination for a Friday night.

Traditional wood panelled pub with interesting display cabinets, good service and fair prices. Pizzas are very good, especially the Flag which has a courgette base.
