The Monday Club, K-BBQ and Wild Mushroom & Ham pizzas were excellent. Good selection of beer taps and excellent cocktails. Outside seating is nice.

This is very busy bar in the heart of Athlone, live music most nights of the week, it goes to the back outdoor area, lots of character, absolutely amazing staff, very good night out. We didn't eat here.

Went the night before but was too packed, So we came back the next day. Cora helped us out right away, but I think they were all prepping for the night crowd, so we left.

Kebab House

24/02/2026: Newer owners over the last six months or so. These guys are night and day compared to the lads that ran the place for the last two or three years. The pizzas are absolutely bangin! They make the dough freshly in front of you and are generous with the toppings. Always a tasty pizza! Fish is crispy, fresh and flaky too if you like fish.

Ken's Oriental Restaurant

03/01/2026: Best Chinese food I have ever tried in Athlone and maybe in my life. The service is great, the waitresses are very friendly, it's open until late at night, has good music in the background. We had satisfactory amount of food and the price is excellent, it's worth every penny.
