Ordering from here years and think it’s the most consistently great chipper in Dublin. 5*s parking can be hard to get outside but that’s the only flaw

Some of the naysayers are comical. If a 20 minute wait on all Ireland day is a reason for a one star review, just shake your head and go to mccy D's. 😂 We had a dinner box and cod, we rang ahead and there was a wait cos they were busy. I've never had better chips in Dublin, hand cut well cooked, chicken tasty, cod very good, perhaps overcooked slightly in a couple of places. Price competitive. Will be back!

I don’t understand the low rating for Peter’s? When I crave a chipper (which isn’t very often), Peter’s is my go to chipper! I have good chippers closer to where I live but for some reason, Peter’s always hits the spot! Fish is cooked perfect and the chips are golden and crispy. Great prices as well. Definitely one of the better chippers in Dublin!

Supermac's & Papa John's

12/12/2025: Good quality fish and chips, as well as some pizza options, such as vegetarian and pepperoni. The place is quite expensive, €20 for fish and chips, which is understandable considering the cost of living there, but not for the portion size. The staff's service could be much better, and at times they were overly attentive when entering the PIN on the card reader (suspiciously, the contactless wasn't working). They're the kind of fixed kiosks you can't touch to protect your PIN. We didn't like what happened. Nor did we appreciate waiting over 30 minutes to be served. It's located away from the main pedestrian area, so the atmosphere in this area is less touristy, and you can find "all sorts" of places. Not recommended unless you go during the day, pay in cash, and order takeaway.
13/08/2025: This is my first time at this place, and I'm not disappointed. Friendly staff, clean, quiet, and the menus are decent.
