Great for a drink before/after Croke Park

The place is always filled with the locals, so if you're looking for irish humour, then definitely gather around here.. I won't necessarily recommend it for a first date but perfect for like a 4th date. Definitely a good meetup spot for friends. 12-15 minutes walk from the bus stop making commuting not too bad. Close to crow park so taxi's are everywhere. All in all, a decent enough spot with good prices and lovely homely service.

Very dog friendly place. Kindly staff. Interesting clientele, local working class salt of the earth type people. Felt very comfortable there.

Great place before a match or a concerts 7euro a pint

I went to Dublin for a little holiday, after eyeing up a few pubs I thought Phil Ryan's was the one for me and I wasn't wrong at all. The staff was all very friendly and welcoming, the punters was also very friendly and I had many great chats with them all, dog friendly which was great to see, the glasses are very clean, the pizza I had was tasty and priced very fairly(the pizza was like from pizza express 😋) Phil Ryan's is so good I made sure to have me last pint in Dublin their as it felt more like saying bye to family 🇮🇪❤️🇮🇪 I can't wait to come back agien
