My compliments to the excellent Chef Abdul. As a vegan, I've been coming for weeks. For about 5, sometimes 7 euro, I get a different hearty meal each day, and it's always delicious and filling. Some days I get a second portion to go! Whatever issues they may have had in the past, I haven't experienced that. They are by far the best UCD has to offer for a vegan. Just request a vegan meal at the counter - you wont regret it!

The food is so delicious, the cooks are fantastic and I look forward to going there every time I am on campus. The food has restaurant-quality but is excellent value for money. There is always a vegetarian dish with a vegan option. Thank you so much for bringing such great food to campus.

For a restaurant tailored to students and faculty members it is lacking in a few areas. First of all the portion sizes are quite small, especially at the lower price points. I have on occasion had lunch here and found myself hungry again soon after, I especially don't understand the sentiment of being stingy with cheap calories like rice or pasta. Secondly the atmosphere is rather unpleasant, the seating is maximised to hold as many people as possible but as a result it gets very noisy and cramped at peak times. Finally the service is mixed but overall not great, staff is generally gruff and impatient. In terms of positives the quality of the food is quite good and better than other stuff around.

22/04/2026: Under the glow of the golden arches I found a love for food I never knew I had. It started with a glance. The steam rising from a Quarter Pounder with Cheese its sesame seeds shining like diamonds in the parking lot light. I reached out my fingers shaking as they touched the cardboard box. When I finally took that bite everything stopped. The onions were strong and bold a match for the smooth melting taste of two slices of American cheese. It was a mix of salty flavors that left me speechless. The fries? They were thin, golden and really salty. I dipped one slowly into a pool of ketchup a mix of hot and cold that made my heart beat fast. Each one was a crispy surprise on the inside and gentle, to the touch. McDonalds you are the late night treat I just can't stop going to. You are fast you are hot. You always leave me wanting just one more bite. Our love is greasy it is cheap. It is totally real.
18/04/2026: Milkshake machine is never on anytime we bring the kids. Seems to often.
