Picasso in Clontarf is a fantastic choice for a group dinner! The ambiance is lovely, making it a really comfortable and enjoyable spot for a larger gathering. The food is always top-notch, with a great variety that I'm sure will please everyone in your group. It’s definitely a place that makes a group booking feel special.

Food was good but the people who had duck were not at all impressed, the bread that was on the table was dry. Service, there was a very long wait for the main course. Atmosphere was not great as we were the only table in the upstairs part of the restaurant

Had a family lunch. Superb service as always. Food was great. The crab claws and prawns are really high quality. Had gnocchi and they accommodated putting some chilli and pancetta in and it was very tasty. A solid neighbourhood Italian.

Went there after a DCU graduation it was a Wednesday at 5pm, was a bit worried that we would be sitting in the restaurant on our own gladly we were wrong. There were enough people in to take the empty look from the place. The food was excellent from the starters through to main meals. We had mussels, brie and crepes as starters and a fish, chicken and lasagne as the main. All cooked to perfection. Only downside was I forgot my glasses so never got to read the full menu so cannot say anymore, it's also a little to far for me to travel to so I will have to wait another year for the masters graduation to return. Many thanks.

Amazing food. Exceptional quality. Quiet on a Sunday. Attentive & friendly service. Quite a formal feel (wasn't expecting to go & felt a little dressed down) but overall welcoming & cosy. I'll definitely be going back.

The food was delicious and full of authentic Italian flavour—truly impressive. We found the restaurant by chance, but it’s certainly a place we’ll return to. I was also pleasantly surprised by the interior redesign, as I remembered it from years ago when it had a completely different look. The new style adds to the overall charm of the dining experience.

16/02/2026: I really enjoyed our meal here, it's a cozy spot with tasty food. The bravas are awesome. Maybe a lack of options on dishes but the kitchen is small. All the dishes tasted lovely, one was on the small side for what we paid but very tasty. Staff were lovely. The wine which was recommended was really good as well. We will return.
26/01/2026: We had dinner 22nd Jan'26, great atmosphere and team dynamic, food was top class and for the dining experience very good value.

The Little Pig Speakeasy

23/02/2026: Reviewing based on both visits to this venue. The first one (in 2024) was fab with a true speakeasy vibe and some lovely cocktails. However, I was turned away this evening from my booking which I had rearranged for an earlier time (40mins early) due to a change in our dinner reservation. This was agreed with the venue but we were turned away when we arrived (after organising our trip back to suit the last minute changes). It was a shame we didn't get to drink here again and felt let down by the comms not landing for us to be seated and had no choice but to cancel rather than wait. We would perhaps go back next time we visit Dublin due to the venue.
03/02/2026: Not too bad, true speakeasy vibes with secret password and entrance. Creepy back alley that leads you upstairs to a comfortable venue above. Downstairs is the restaurant and the more pub-like sister “speakeasy” (which is not hidden by any means and much louder). Red Elixir 3.5/5 Petite Dejuener 4/5 (better if warmed) More food reviews shared on IG (@explorewithdria) and travel experiences unfold at explorewithdria.blogspot.com!
