16/07/2025: I am visiting from New York, I wasn’t expecting to find pizza this good in a small town in Ireland — but Roberto’s completely proved me wrong. I had their pizza for the first time last night and ended up going back again tonight. That should tell you enough. The pizza is genuinely delicious — the crust has that perfect balance of crunch and chew, the toppings are fresh and flavorful, and the sauce and cheese are layered just right. It reminded me of the kind of authentic, well-made pizza you’d find in a solid neighborhood spot back in NYC. But what made this place even better was the people inside. The staff and the owner are genuinely some of the friendliest and funniest people I’ve met on this trip. From the second I walked in, they made me feel welcome and I became “Charlie”. It wasn’t just about grabbing food — it felt like a full experience. We joked, laughed, talked about where I was from, and by the time I left, it felt like I’d known them for way longer than just one visit. The service was quick and everything came out fresh and hot. There’s no cutting corners here — it’s real food made with love and personality. And as someone who’s picky when it comes to pizza (especially being from New York), I can confidently say this is the best pizza I’ve had while visiting Ireland. Easily. If you’re nearby or even just passing through, make it a point to stop by Roberto’s. You won’t regret it. I’ll definitely be coming back for more during the rest of my stay.
