Really beautiful place with great food, pricey but not exorbitant, especially for the deli options. I sat in with friends and the staff were preparing for a private event so we felt a bit rushed out and like we were an inconvenience.

The Botanical has a nice, interesting ambiance and could and should be a good venue. However, while the service was okay, the food was really mediocre. Considering one can find many places across Dublin with better atmosphere and service and much better food, give this one a pass.

Relatively mediocre food and drinks for the price. Nice atmosphere and really friendly, quick staff, but I felt the food could use a lot more flavour and the cocktails were primarily ice.

Graingers Hanlons Corner

28/06/2026: Staff were fantastic, the only faukt I found with the Sunday carvery was no yorkshire pudding.
22/05/2026: Visited graingers twice this week whilst staying in Dublin. Staff were very friendly and the Guinness was exceptional. They even put the aston villa game on for us on Wednesday. On the second visit had some food. Huge portions and really tasty. Will definitely be returning
