Playtown Tullamore in Tullamore

Visiting today with 4 classes of Senior infant students on the hottest day of the year to date. It is a perfect location for a school tour for junior/ Senior infants or indeed pre schoolers with lots of fantastic Aistear themed rooms The children had an absolute ball. The venue was spotless and the staff were constantly going around tidying and ensuring the safety of the students. They also provided unlimited cordial drinks for the children, very welcome as the day was so hot. The children loved the crazy scientist and his experiments! All children hit a balloon as a gift when leaving. The tour was a great hit for students and teachers and I highly recommend!

We found Playtown completely by accident after the rain ruined our original plans for an outdoor adventure, and what a lucky find it was! It turned out to be the perfect place to escape the wet weather. Our children aged 5, 2, and 8 months all had an amazing time, which isn't always easy to find in one venue. There was plenty to keep our 5-year-old entertained, a great space for our busy 2-year-old to explore safely, and even an area where our 8-month-old could enjoy themselves. Playtown was clean, well-organised, and had a lovely family-friendly atmosphere. I especially appreciated how they sanitise the venue after each session. The staff were welcoming and helpful, making the whole experience even better. We'll definitely be keeping this place in mind and would highly recommend it to other families looking for a fun indoor adventure!

My daughter and niece had such a great time, we liked how there was somebody nicely tidying up throughout without it seeming like there was pressure to do that ourselves. Nice coffee, plenty of snacks options. Pleasant staff, although the guy who was behind the coffee bar was a Manchester United fan. I guess you can't have it all. YNWA.

Went with my son. He is 5 years old and not too much into the creative/role-play games, but must say he totally loved it. Went up and down the whole time exploring everything and left the place really happy and asking to come back. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the price is not bad either.

Amazing place for kids of all ages, spotlessly clean and endless fun! Highly recommend!

I asked my six year old to write the review and he said ‘it’s very fun and i really liked the remote control car thing that grabs the cubes and I really liked upstairs, plus plus robots, slides….and I like the cars and ….i liked everything can you write that I liked everything Mammy’ Both my kids loved everything here and I am so impressed by the cleanliness, creativity and play. What a gem!

Exceptional. I just wish it was nearer to home. Such a wonderful concept. Me and my 9 year old both equally loved it.

Every ocassion we went therw for the past few years, it was amazing.Lots to do for the kids. The first session of the day during cold season is a bit colder inside, but its understandable. They make sure every room is tidy for all the kids as they go along so its nice. So, we love it.Good value for families
