Plur wood-fired pizza (Clane) in Clane

15/02/2024: We went for the valentines set menu. There was a great choice. We went for the goats cheese tartlet to start, which was light and delicious. We both also went for the 10oz. Ribeye, which was excellent quality and cooked medium rare to perfection. They came with a generous portion of chunky chips for my partner and sweet potato fries for me. Again, cooked to perfection. The mushroom with onions had a nice hint of curry, which was unusual but worked really well and a light salad bite. Unlike some restaurants, the mains were generous . A nice bottle of house red complimented the steaks. Dessert was again delicious with a nice collection of chocolate desserts. The staff were very attentive and charming. A lovely restaurant, with a nice intimate atmosphere. I’d highly recommend it.

24/12/2023: Down a side street this restaurant was cosy and inviting. There were very few guests the night I visited so service was quick if not overly friendly. I ordered the ribeye steak as the T Bone advertised on the website menu was no longer on offer. The steak was tender and tasty but unfortunately over cooked (I ordered medium but it was well done). I also ordered salad instead of the chips and it was fine however the portabello mushroom, carmilised onions and cherry tomatoes were nowhere to be seen, I did get two onion rings though, ah well... 3 stars is a little harsh but I didn't feel more was in order.
