POG Howth in Dublin

Service was great. Food was ok, very over priced, in my opinion. Chicken and chorizo toastie was soggy. Chips were amazing and the best part of the meal. The pancakes seem popular.

I went today with my family. It was a really good experience. The food was nice. The staff had great customer service and the man asked for feedback on the new Hot Chocolate that they have on the menu and I really appreciate that he asked for my feedback and I was able to give constructive criticism on the hot chocolate. It was nice, but I just felt it needed more sweetness but other than that everything in the restaurant was perfect. I would highly reccomend going to this place and it is located at a very beautiful spot.

The extensive breakfast and brunch menu, particularly the pancake selection, is impressive and the food itself is undeniably delicious. However, be prepared for a potentially hefty bill, which is somewhat expected given Howth's location. Service, while generally friendly, can be a bit chaotic, especially with larger groups. Overall, Pog is a fantastic choice for a special brunch with stunning views, if you're willing to splurge a little.

This charming spot is an absolute delight! The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. The menu is thoughtfully designed with allergens already listed, and they go the extra mile by personally verifying any dietary concerns. On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious!

Delicious scone, served with something more like stewed berries than jam, but absolutely yummy. Dog-friendly too, met the loveliest good boy there this morning! A really friendly and relaxed place for a morning coffee and a treat. Update: sadly they no longer serve the delicious stewed berries with a scone, now it's just normal boring jam. But the dog visitors are still great!

Unfortunately, the staff didn't know the menu, couldn't answer any questions about it and only spoke very poor English. The pancakes were great but way too expensive. My companion's meal was disappointing.
