Poppadom in Sligo

When the server takes ice cubes with hand into your glas in the bar, you start wondering about the hygiene in the kitchen. Food tasted good, but attention and atmosphere was poor

This is a fantastic and authentic Indian restaurant. The food is of a very high standard and full of taste. The spice levels were perfect. I enjoyed every part of my meal here and will certainly be coming back.

You could almost miss this place as it has a very inconspicuous entrance. This leads to an upstairs restaurant that is quite spacious. The menu displayed at the entrance door seems to be for takeaways. It was pretty boring with the bland dishes listed. I saw it on my way out and might not have gone in had I seen it first. However, the dine in menu is more substantial and does give the choice of ordering more spicier dishes. Maybe display this menu at the entrance for browsers to see? The chicken curry I had was excellent. It was hot enough for my taste and brimming with flavour. Most of the dishes on offer cater for the milder curry taste favoured in Ireland but there are a few exceptions for those with a more seasoned palate to enjoy. Overall a very pleasant restaurant with friendly staff but a bit heavy on mild and medium dishes.
