I had breakfast in the Poppy Seed recently. While the atmosphere and service were quite good the price was way above average for what I got. Two poached eggs, two bacon , tea and toast cost 14.75. This normally costs me 8.50 to 9.50. Obviously I won't be back !!

05/03/2025: Great place, fantastic food and the staff are so very friendly. Location couldn't be better, you're hiden in plain sight, walking distance to everything Galway City has to offer.

16/02/2025: Restaurant well located in Galway city center. Welcome far from warm, great lack of communication between servers. Different servers came to us several times to ask us the same thing. Regarding the cuisine, it was completely satisfactory! The setting is quite pleasant. Service to be reviewed.

Kingfisher Club, University of Galway

23/03/2025: Good fitness and pool, don't forget your own lock and swimming cap. Also, you can't relax in sauna, since people are really loud

31/10/2024: Huge modern building,wasn't overly impressed with the staff but wouldn't ruin my experience either.
