A typical bar in the neighborhood, but with the restaurant upstairs, which makes it a bit quieter and more pleasant.

Excellent, even in the middle of the 8:30 pm rush on a Saturday night, there was a 15-20 minute wait for a very good quality Irish stew with Guinness – definitely worth doing!

Excellent restaurant. The food is good, and the staff are pleasant and professional. Be aware that its popularity means there's often a wait for a table. I recommend it!

Hearty stews, lovely mussels and great service other than an issue that we had with the bill that the manager settled promptly upon discussion.

The salmon muscle soup is a killer!

Upon arrival, we were greeted and asked to wait for our table. We hadn't made a reservation, and the restaurant on the first floor was full. Once seated, we noticed that the tables were very close together, which partly explains the high noise level. However, the waiter was friendly, smiling, and open to conversation. The meal was one of the best we had during our two weeks in Ireland!

They were accommodating upon arrival, but as soon as we finished eating, the bill was brought immediately, and we left feeling deeply disappointed.

This place was so great. I got the cottage pie and we did a jug of lemonade. Beware if you're American the lemonade is sparkling and not super sharp, but it was refreshing and good. Would definitely eat here again.
