Queens Hotel in Ennis

I recently returned from a lovely 3 night break( Sunday to Wednesday) in Queens Hotel in Ennis. I am a single elderly traveller n stayed on a room only basis, as I was visiting family n was very pleased with what I paid for my accommodation. My room( 112) was spacious with a Kingsize Bed and ample storage space. It also had coffee n tea making facilities. My bathroom was perfect with a top class walk in shower unit, and all the units were spotless and looked spanking new. The room was serviced regularly by very pleasant household staff. I had lunch in the dining room and it was lovely and served again by very friendly and attentive staff. I also had delicious homemade buttermilk pancakes served with winter berries n cream n a large pot of coffee for late breakfast and would highly recommend. There is a coffee shop with delicious cakes on the ground floor of the Hotel where I purchased some cakes to bring back to Dublin with me. I am a regular visitor to Ennis, and the hotel is centrally based in the town, which also has a decent cinema. I will definitely be staying in Queens on my next visit and will recommend highly to others. Keep up the good work!!🙋‍♀️ Anne R……Dublin 13.

Lovely hotel in the centre of everything

Stunning hotel both in terms of structure and rooms, excellent service and the location is perfect, a little away from the center which is a 10 minute walk away and therefore away from the chaos of the weekend, discounted parking with entrance directly into the hotel, very good quality of breakfast high. Plus the city view

Rooms clean and good size. The disco noise on Saturday night will keep you awake till 2.30am

First impression 😡appears to be a dumpy hotel, so disappointed at the moment . I will update my review based on experience . The location is excellent for being on the Main Street with all the stores .

We had a lovely stay in this hotel. 99% of the staff were amazing. We booked 6 rooms, we all dined in the restaurant and we had drinks until 1am in the bar, it was a great reunion of friends. The only upsetting thing was, the night porter ignored us while we were trying to get from the pub to the lift, never turned on any lights, we were holding onto each other in the dark. The last of us to go to bed asked the lovely bar chap to help and he went ahead and got the lazy night porter who was mostly on his phone to turn on the lights. It's amazing how one employee can upset the apple cart.

The hotel should change the checking in to around 2pm or 3pm because of their visitors coming from a long distance and could be tired..The hotel is clean and the staffs are nice,welcoming and polite. Have enough money in your card to pay for security deposit but it will be refunded.

the breakfasts are stunning and all my visitors stay here. Some nights can be noisy as live music venues are very close, but it's not that loud, I can sleep through it. The staff are welcoming, great hotel with competitive rates.
