Quigleys Cafe, Bakery & Deli in Limerick

Lovely bakery with great produce at a very reasonable price.

Had to travel last Friday to Limerick, so made the usual stop in the Cresent, after pottering around, my mother and I said we better get something to eat before heading back to Kerry. The greatest feed you could ask for in Quigleys. We ended up keeping the other half of our wrap and sandwich for dinner it was so well packed! Treated ourselves to a donut each afterwards - absolute heaven! The staff are lovely and work like a well oiled machine - will be back!

My friend recommended me this place to order my birthday cake and I’m glad I did!! I got this luxury Black Forest Gateau! I honestly wasn’t disappointed at all… the cake looked and tasted really good, it was full of cream from the inside, decorated with some fruits on top and I asked to write happy birthday as well… it came in a nice big box that is totally safe to carry the cake all the way to the party. It was mentioned on the website that this gâteau serves 8 people but it actually serves many more!! It’s pretty big and got different layers. It costs me 35.99€ totally worth it!! While I was waiting for my collection, I grabbed a sourdough sandwich with tuna, cheese, and rocket! It was quite nice and I liked that they had fresh ingredients; however, I was surprised that they charge the same price for it as in the one that comes with chicken or ham, but anyway that’s a story for another day.

Always a wonderful experience at Quigley's the Crescent. Was there this morning with my young son and the staff always go above and beyond to accommodate us. Immaculately clean high chair, great food and a superb oat milk flat white which so many places fail to do right.
