Rasa Indian Restaurant in Dublin

The ambience is decent, but the taste of food is just phenomenal. I loved the paneer tikka it felt like the paneer is melting, the moment it is inside mouth. We ordered Raita with Naan and Aachari Baigan. To be honest you have to go and taste it once it is hard to describe in words.

Updated : My review as a regular at rasa. Extremely dissatisfied today. I went to rasa as a group of 6. The dal makhani was abysmal, just toned down with a lot of cream. The other dishes were OK, but not upto the mark. But the overall quality of the food and menu has deteriorated in the last few weeks. I have informed the same while leaving as well.

Been here a few times, and our favorite picks are: Vegetarian Thali Andhra Chicken Dal Makhani The food is delicious, fresh and flavorful. Not too spicy and also not bland. Our recent visit was today and we had Lamb Biryani for the first time & a Veg Thali. The Biryani to my surprise was really good. The meat was tender and biryani was so flavorful.

We had the most amazing meal in Rasa this evening. My goodness, the food is out of this world. I love vegetable samosa, it's always the starter I go for in Indian restaurants, and can honestly say that's the most delicious one I've ever had. The presentation was fabulous and it was served in the most delicious sauce. We both got the butter chicken as a main course and it was divine - I just wish I could've eaten more of it, but was so full from the starter. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, making our first time experience here even nicer. I also want to note the kindness of another waiter who noticed my partner sneezed a couple of times and brought him some warm water. The restaurant was almost completely full by the time we left at around 6pm and I'm not surprised. This food is just extraordinary. The setting is cosy with a nice atmosphere too. I live in walking distance of it and can't believe it's only now I'm discovering such a lovely restaurant. Five stars and highly recommend.

I visited Rasa with my wife and we really enjoyed our time. The food is excellent — the naan and paneer were delicious, and the coriander garlic onion naan was full of flavor. Our waitress Sindhi was very kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. She’s really doing amazing. We also tried the sizzling brownie, which is a must-try dessert. Since it was the restaurant’s 4th anniversary, they gave us complimentary (no cost) rice pudding, which was also very tasty. The staff were friendly, attentive, and even packed our leftovers nicely. Overall, Rasa is one of the best Indian restaurants in Dublin. Great food, excellent service, and a lovely experience!

Had a lovely experience at Rasa Indian Restaurant! I ordered the vegetarian Thali, and every item on the plate was delicious—authentic, well-spiced, and beautifully presented. The service was excellent—friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The ambience of the restaurant is a major highlight—quiet, relaxed, and beautifully done up. It’s a great place to enjoy a peaceful meal. There’s also plenty of parking, which made the visit even more convenient. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality Indian food in a calm, well-maintained setting!
