Rasa Indian Restaurant in Dublin

We celebrated a birthday here, and the experience was exceptional. As someone who usually dines at the top Indian spots in Dublin, I was genuinely blown away this place deserves far more recognition. For starters, we had the lamb seekh and paneer tikka. The lamb could’ve been slightly softer, but still tasted great. The paneer tikka, with its thin layer of chutney, was a standout a small touch that made it perfect. For mains, we ordered chicken biryani and Kadhai Paneer. Both were excellent, but the Kadhai Paneer truly stole the show, it transported me straight back to the best dhabas of Punjab, full of nostalgic flavours. To top it off, the staff surprised us with a birthday candle on dessert and were warm and attentive all evening. I’ll definitely be back for more.

Had an amazing experience at Rasa! The food was delicious and full of flavor. A special mention to Sindhu, who was absolutely wonderful so warm, welcoming, and attentive. She really made our dining experience even better with her friendly and caring approach. Would definitely recommend Rasa for both the great food and the amazing service!

I didn't think, I will be writing this review about Rasa. We’ve been a regular at Rasa for years, especially on October 28th, making it a family tradition. The place has always had a welcoming atmosphere, and the food used to be consistently enjoyable. It’s been our go-to spot for special occasions, and I’ve recommended it to friends in the past. However, my last two visits have been disappointing. The food quality has noticeably declined—dishes that were once flavourful now seem bland and less fresh. This time, all three of us, including my daughter, are feeling uneasy after dining, which is concerning and unlike our previous experiences. While ambience was still warm and inviting with top quality Service from friendly and attentive Staff, food quality has dropped significantly in our last two visits. Bread (Paratha) we ordered today was not even fully cooked. I hope the restaurant addresses these issues soon, as it’s a place we’ve cherished for years. I’m hopeful things will improve in future.

All the starters were excellent. We tried several and each one was full of flavor and really well done 👍🏻. For the main course, I had the thali. It was decent overall (around 3/5). the prawn curry was quite nice, but the chicken and lamb were fairly average.

The food is amazing, ambience is excellent and service was great, Sindhu was brilliant and received us so well and suggested us with some great options that we devoured.

The ambience is decent, but the taste of food is just phenomenal. I loved the paneer tikka it felt like the paneer is melting, the moment it is inside mouth. We ordered Raita with Naan and Aachari Baigan. To be honest you have to go and taste it once it is hard to describe in words.
