Rasam in Dublin

We visited Rasam for dinner on a Wednesday, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I ordered the vegetarian thali, and my husband had the beetroot chicken. We absolutely loved both dishes. The thali was especially impressive because it’s rare to enjoy every single item on the plate, but every dish was full of flavor. The palak paneer was delicious, the kofta was rich and perfectly cooked, the dal was comforting and flavorful, and even the gobi sabzi stood out. It was one of the best vegetarian thalis I’ve had. The hospitality made the experience even more special. The owner, Nishith, was incredibly warm and welcoming. He spent time chatting with us, sharing stories, and made us feel genuinely looked after. To finish, we had the kulfi, which was fresh, authentic, and packed with flavor—the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Highly recommend Rasam for both its delicious food and exceptional hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

One of the best Indian restaurants in Dublin! The staff and owner (Nisheeth) are extremely nice and knowledgeable, and it really shows in the level of care they put into the experience. The whole team is happy to talk you through the menu if you’re not sure what to pick, and Nisheeth always makes sure every guest feels comfortable and looked after. The food is beautifully authentic, every dish felt thoughtfully spiced rather than just “hot,” with real skill and tradition behind the cooking. Rasam has become our go-to spot for family celebrations and special occasions, and it’s a real crowd-pleaser! Both the Indian and Irish sides of our family love the food and the ambience. The service is warm and attentive without being intrusive, portions are generous, and everything comes out fresh. Glasthule is lucky to have a restaurant this good on its doorstep. We’ll definitely keep coming back, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for genuinely great Indian food in Dublin.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing meal here. The mixed platter, butter chicken, aloo side, and brownie were all absolutely delicious every bite was full of flavour. A big thank you to Gavin for the excellent recommendations and friendly service. The ambience was beautiful and relaxing, and the owner, Nisheeth, was so welcoming, which made our visit even more enjoyable. One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Dublin. Beautiful restaurant, lovely dining experience second time being there for dinner. Came this time for a birthday occasion and the staff gave us a lovely table and brought out a dessert with a candle after we ate our main meal on the house. All the food is delicious. Very attentive staff and made our dining experience memorable. Thank you!

Always tough to find an Indian restaurant with true authentic and deep flavours. I found the food delivered a good level of flavours in each of the dishes. The Thali is a good one to try if you want to taste different dishes without having to choose just one. The nans also had a bit of crispness to it which was nice. The service was brilliant and really welcoming throughout the time I was there.

An evening in Rasam is always a delight - very special food and kindness that is just as special.
