Rasam in Dublin

As soon as you walk onto the stairs up to Rasam you relax ... its something to do with the smell of rose oil which creates a bridge into the magic that is Rasam. This is my very favourite Indian restaurant. Brilliant food and a magical welcoming atmosphere. Lat time we were there we were 4 .... for an early bird and we had one of each choices of starters and main course. All more delicious than the other ... but if I am honest the ajwaini & mint calamari (starter) and mango prawn are my favourites. But what makes Rasam really special is the welcome of Nisheeth and his team. There is no place in Ireland that will make you feel more welcome.

Rasam never disappoints. Visited for my daughters birthday, she turned 12. Staff made a big fuss of her she was delighted. The food was incredible as always.

Some of the best Indian food in dublin. The staff as always so friendly and welcoming. They somehow get us a table every time, even when fully booked - best customer service and the ingredients are fresh.

I had the most delicious Thali in Dublin!!! I can't wait to try the other dishes!!!

Dinner for 2 on a Wednesday evening. Lovely ambience, excellent staff (our waiter "llakman" not sure of spelling), good wine list, good portions and fine food. For starters we had, Chatpata Pork and Trio Chicken - both excellent For mains, my partner had Butter Chicken and I chose the "signature disk" Dum Pukt Gosht (Lamb). We also had a portion of Dal Panchmel, basmati rice (excellent) and Peshawari naan. The Butter Chicken was very well received, the Gosht was OK but disappointing given it menu title. Our waiter provided a small portion of the other lamb dish (Awadhi Curry) that is on the menu and it was much more to my taste. We had a very enjoyable and reasonably priced bottle of South African Pinotage to accompany the meal. Overall a excellent and satisfying dinner experience.

Rasam never disappoints and this time was no exception. Came for a late dinner and enjoyed delicious lamb curry and buttered delhi chicken with sides of dal and spinach.Superb. And the most professional and friedly service you could ask for. ThorThoroughly recommend.
