Reeds on the River in Dublin

I guess everyone can have an off day which probably explains the one and two star reviews for this place. We had a lovely meal here this evening for our anniversary. The staff were friendly and accommodating. So our experience was the best. Five stars.

The waitress was super friendly, even though there weren't many people there when we arrived. She gave us great tips for our stay. The fish and chips were really crispy.

Amazing food and a real Irish pub/restaurant. Happy to have found it! Keep in mind to make your reservation in advance, though.

Myself and my husband were great fans of this spot and had eaten here several times before. We were a bit disappointed with our recent meal. The food was not up to its usual standard The starter tasted fine ( not amazing)but the portion was ridiculously big. I got fish for my main. The fish was nice but it was sitting on an enormous portion of noddles that really added nothing to the dish. If last night was my first experience here I would not be rushing back. We have had much nicer food here.
