Reel Inn in Donegal

We didnt eat here but had our best night out in Ireland here! Fantastic memories!

Nice pub with live music and dancing on the evening we were there.

To be fair, I only had a Coke (Medical issues, drinking is a non-option, yadda yadda) to sample the local live music, which was amazing (courtesy of Claddagh Rua whose rendition of Hard Times was out of this world). But the atmosphere was friendly and cozy (although make sure you ARE purchasing drinks of some kind so the place and the visiting performers are making money) and the server I encountered was quick on the draw with my order and charming to boot. The only thing missing was a dance floor, but that’s a personal gripe. Visit recommended!

For anyone looking for authentic Irish entertainment, this is the perfect place.

Not sure they serve food, but the Guinness was excellent and the live Irish music top notch. Great atmosphere of locals and tourists all enjoying the vibe together.

Best music venue in Donegal Town by far

Great time!!!! 10/10. Fabulous live music, great Guinness. Was pouring rain the night I was there (Nov 28,2025) was so bloody hot in the bar this 🇨🇦🇨🇦 had to keep going & dancing in the rain.

Great bar, great staff and great entertainment. We were in Donegal for St Patrick's Day and we had the best of craic. Barman Mark kept the pints flowing, lovely fella. Definitely worth a visit.

**one for the dog lovers** - lovely staff - friendly locals -coal fire -great Guinness -very dog friendly (friendly proper and not just tolerant!) -live music Will be back again. Aka tomorrow night xo
