Amazing food always cooked to perfection and the owner and staff are always very welcoming and always in good form . Highly recommend for a visit with friends or family for a nice bite to eat .. Owen .. keep up the good work it ..Ongars little gem

Fabulous spot. Has been a staple for me since coming to ongar. Be sure to try the vegetable soup it’s best soup of your life. Bagels good, Tuna melt open sandwich is top notch. Staff are lovely

My daughter introduced me to this café where the Caramel Latte is spectacular. The service is excellent, even though my English isn't great. They're patient and attentive, and the brunch is delicious. Absolutely a must-visit if you're in Ongar.

Convenient local cafe that is very busy at the weekends. Food was nice but the coffee was very small for the price charged. The atmosphere was lively, but very loud.

11/06/2026: We had lunch for two and it was as good as it gets. Lovely food, straight from the sea in front of us, and amazing and very welcoming staff.
10/06/2026: We had a fabulous meal recently that was made so much more enjoyable by your staff. I can't remember being anywhere in a long time where all of the staff were so friendly, engaging and happy. We were mainly served by Laura S who was exceptional in looking after us and the kids, but everyone else we dealt with was also equally as good. You obviously have a great team, but also a great culture to have everyone so happy and engaged. Not many places manage to achieve this.
