Rift Coffee in Limerick

Rimu went to Rift on a wet morning, and had the most delicious cappuccino, and Rimu also discovered their friands by accident because Rimu thought it said “friend” but it was just as sweet, and Rimu felt very warm after 🥰

After being turned away from other cafes, because I had my dog, I came in at 4:10, 20 minutes from close. Despite this staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. I brought my dog with me, and we were welcomed. I had a lovely cup of tea and sat in comfortable seating with a nice view. My dog was given a treat. This is definitely a great spot to pop into if you are out walking your dog and get a longing for a really enjoyable cup of tea with friendly staff .

I rated Rift 5 stars four years ago when they had fab vegan options on their menu. The menu has gotten smaller over the years and they now have no hot or cold vegan food options (besides some bought in protein balls and a beetroot brownie). I got a coffee here last week and found the staff to be a bit dismissive and have often found that recently. I try to pick up things here when I'm nearby like coffee filters and rayu etc but I'll be less inclined to make the effort now

Beautiful cafe, I always love it when they have little local goodies that you can buy. Looked to also have a great selection of wines and items for a charcuterie board. Coffee was delicious, as was the lemon drizzle cake. Plug points available, where I was sitting on the window seats. Staff were also super friendly. Great time here, would absolutely come back.

The café is very good, the coffee is excellent, and the food—well, the first time I visited, it was the best breakfast I had in Limerick. However, on my second visit, I noticed the quality wasn’t quite the same. It didn’t feel as good as the first time, but it’s still one of the best places in Limerick.
