Don’t order Shakshuka if you expect a real one, they have their own version of it which is totally different dish!
The rest is very yummy :)
I would except some more lounge/chill music in such a small cosy place, loud pop concert music a bit annoying

Update: From previous review returned and they now have a lovely sourdough mushroom toastie. Absolutely delicious and filling! And have a few vegan and veg options now. Really enjoy it and the place looks great inside. Would throughly recommend this place now. Credit when due 👌
I live in the neighbourhood so was keen to try this place out. Took a seat with a friend but we decided to leave and go elsewhere as there was not a proper vegan option which was disappointing. Staff said they could remove eggs and cheese but what would have been left would not have worth it. Most places have at least one consistent vegan option these days. Something like veggie sausages, beans, tofu scramble with some sautéed veg would be a suggestion. If this changed I'd visit regularly as the place seemed nice despite that. Just some constructive feedback!

Since Riggers D8 opened in Inchicore some years back it has raised the bar for any subsequent eateries in the surrounding area. We've gained some great café/bakery type outlets in Inchicore (Greenville, Boom and Unfiltered to name three). Riggers for me has what makes a great café/lunch experience and that is consistency in the quality of the food. I've never left there feeling empty and enjoy the friendly banter with everyone working there.
All the staff including chef/owner Shane are friendly and attentive, Nicola, Guillaume, Julia, Arielle, Jemima, Amelia, Chloe, Hector and Ulysses.
Yes, it may be pricey for a suburban-based eatery but it matches the quality of city centre-based places like Emer's kitchen and The Honey Truffle and that is saying a lot as these are two of the best lunch spots in the city by a stretch.
So, treat yourself to a coffee and a cake or one of their mouth-watering mains.

Tasty food and good portions. There are also a lot of middle Eastern brunch options which are a gem. Recommend everyone tries them! Don't just stick with the sausage burger! I've tried everything here and nothing disappoints.
But my favourite is the buttermilk chicken burger, which is one of the best burgers I've ever had (pictured)

The internal space isn't that big, so seating is a bit limited, but we were shown to a nice table after a short wait by one of the very friendly waiting staff . The hot food menu doesn't have a lot of options, and two of those were unavailable, so we both opted for the shakshuka, not being fully sure exactly what we were getting into, but all of the ingredients were listed, so we went for it. The wait for the food wasn't too long, and I can honestly say that it was delicious, seasoned just right, and spot on for a cold day. All in all, a pleasant experience with good food at a reasonable price.

This place is unreal. I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve ordered here. I now have a regular order which is the riggers breakfast but instead of meat (I’m that annoying vegetarian) I get halloumi and avocado. They never look at me funny and it’s always absolutely delicious. Great coffee and lovely staff too. My boyfriend lives and dies by the shakshuka here too. It does get very busy so I’d recommend going before 10am or making a booking. One note: I’d love some veggie pudding and beans lads 👀
