Third Space Smithfield in Dublin

The avocado toast is no joke. David and Mikel also ate here and liked the food. Really missing João right now.

The avocado toast was good, the salsa they put on it was slightly spicy. The eggs were pretty average, I wouldn't order them again.

It’s a lovely quiet place. Ideal for sitting in to read a book or having a conversation.

They didn’t have the drinks advertised on the menu. Food was okay but expensive. Limited indoor options and very warm so sat outside but it’s a bit cramped and the smell of smoke is off putting.

We had breakfast here on our last morning in Dublin. My wife ordered the veggie breakfast, and for the eggs to cooked hard - which they were. I had poached eggs and avocado on sourdough toast, which was delicious. Coffee was first class. Brilliant place.

I don't usually hit up the same place multiple times on a trip but I had delicious breakfast here three days in a row! Each item I tried was hearty and amazingly priced, and the lattes huge.

I like the idea of this place more than my recent experience. The atmosphere is great! Lots of seating and natural light. There are books to borrow, games to share, a community section where sitting with strangers is encouraged, and no laptops during a stretch of the day to encourage connection. The food was okay. The scrambled eggs were overworked, giving them a rubbery, not fluffy consistency. You seat yourself, order at the service bar, and drinks are pick up but food is delivered to the table. This place is very close to 2 photo opportunities: a giant DUBLIN text sculpture and a tea kettle.

A bit pricey, but the place is really nice and the staff are very friendly and attentive.

5 stars in all because it deserves it in everything. Plus it's on a pedestrian street
