Ristorante 6 in Dublin

We had dinner on New Year's Eve 2024 and the truth is that it was a success. It is a small restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, there will only be about 10 tables. The service is very good, since they quickly attended to our reservation and offered us the special menu for that night. The prices of the dishes are approximately €20-30, and we had a fish similar to monkfish, a risotto that was exquisite, and a chocolate dessert.

Perfect restaurant and customer service by staff

Restaurant Six served us food cooked to perfection, accompanied by excellent house wine, all at a reasonable price. Unlike many places that overcharge and serve smaller portions, Six offered generous servings. We were delighted to receive delicious compliments from the chef and even chocolates to round off our meal. The vegetables were a standout—creative, vibrant, and full of flavor. Picture this: candied beetroot salad with toasted walnuts, avocado, and beetroot aioli, paired with a pea and asparagus risotto that was a true taste sensation. Each bite felt indulgent yet refined. My dining partner, who takes steak very seriously, declared it the best he’d ever had—a bold claim, but well-deserved. This steak delivered on all fronts: flavor, tenderness, and juiciness, elevated further by a unique mustard cream sauce instead of the usual pepper sauce. It was a perfect balance of boldness and comfort. The restaurant's intimate, relaxed ambiance added to the experience, with its white linen tablecloths, gleaming silverware, and attentive service. It felt exclusive without being overpriced—a rare and welcome find. We couldn't help but speculate on the name "Six" and its subtle allure. While the meaning remains a mystery, it captures the idea of satisfying more than just hunger—a perfect metaphor for a restaurant that leaves you feeling completely fulfilled.

Great place for pre theatre for before going to the Gate. Lovely menu and staff are excellent. Reasonable value for money.

We had a wonderful evening at Le Six. The setting is absolutely sublime, from the moment you enter the welcome is warm. We were accompanied by Vishal throughout the meal, who advised us with expertise and sympathy both on the dishes and the accompanying wines, he was absolutely perfect and made our evening even more special! Thanks to him and the whole team, we will come back with pleasure!
